Today was our training. Me falix and tastumi went to a river with akame.
"So what are we doing here?" falix asked.
"This is where we're hunting." akame said as she started taking off her clothes. Me and tatsumi looked away. "Something wrong?" she asked. We saw that she was wearing a swimsuit.
"Oh thank god. It's just a swimsuit." tatsumi said.
"Nope." i said.
"My disappointment is immeasurable. And my day is ruined." falix said. Thank god akame didn't realize what he was talking about. Otherwise my brother would be dead.
"Our target is koga tuna." akame said.
"Aren't those super rare and really hard to find?" tatsumi asked. Akame did a flip into the water. And soon. A bunch of huge fish came flying out of the water.
"You have to go deep in the lake. And wait for the right moment. Think you can do that?" akame asked.
"Only one way to find out." falix said. We looked at each other and nodded. We took of our shirts and jackets. And jumped in the lake..
Couple hours later.
"Both of them caught ten fish? Awesome!" leone said.
"Though i caught none." tatsumi said. Defeated.
"Chin up. There's alway next time." i said.
"So...anyone to butcher tonight?" falix asked.
"Glad to see your in the killing mood falix. Cause i got three targets." leone said as she threw three pictures. "The targets our ogre. Of the imperial police. Garnal. An oil merchant. And don'yoku. An arms dealer." leone said. I don't know why. But i feel obligated to kill don'yoku. Like my samurai code has been insulted.
"So what's their sins?" i asked.
"Our client told us that garnal bribes ogre whenever he commits a crime. And the police frame someone else. Her husband was one of them." leone said. As she put a big bag of gold on the table. "She must have sold her body to get this..." leone said with sadness.
"What about this arm's dealer?" najenda asked.
"Don'yoku is someone selling weapons to anyone who could afford his extremely high prices. But the problem is. His merchandise is worth every bit of gold." leone said. As she put a longsword on the table. I took it into my hand and swung it. It gave off flames as i did.
"Is that a teigu?" mine asked.
"No. i've seen all the teigus. And that's not one of them...it's something else." najenda said.
"Yeah, all of the weapons don'yoku sell have these elemental properties. And they don't have the same restriction as teigus. The imperial army could wipe us out. If there all armed with his merchandise." leone said. Sayo looked closely at don'yoku's picture.
"Notice something?" tatsumi asked.
"Yeah. he seems to have the same tattoo as auron and falix. Same place too." sayo said. They were right. He had a tattoo similar to mine and falix's.
"I'll take don'yoku." i said. Anger emanating from my voice.
"What's up with you?" lubbock asked.
"I don't know...i feel like him selling weapons to such vile people...i feel...insulted. Like a code of honor was violated." i said.
"You feel that way too? I don't get why either. We're assassins. Not samurai. But it feels like our samurai code was spit on by this guy for a quick buck." falix said. Everyone raised an eyebrow.
