I woke up, my neck feeling absolutely sore from Xiao. But before I could sit up I noticed vinny, I guessed I must've pulled him in my bed.

I carefully leave my bed, getting dressed;

I walk towards the mess hall. While walking I can overhear it's training day today, what the hell is training day?

I bump into Zax. He seems rather nervous than normal.

"Are you alright Zax?" I looked up at him.

"I'm really sorry on what Xiao did." He apologized.

"Zax, It's alright." I reassured him.

He sighed in relief. "I'm glad that don't you want to go and get rid of me."

"I would never, your to precious to me." I chuckled.

We both walked to the mess hall, talking about everything and anything. He explained to me about training day, that it was a day for people to try and join the guards, knights, or whatever they want to do. Anyone can attend, even peasants. The queen or king would show themself to watch.

"Does everyone have to attend?" I asked while stuffing my mouth with food.

He laughs a little, "No, but I would suggest it though."

Hmm...I probably won't, I don't really have anything special beside some defense spells and physical training.

After eating, I head back to my room. I decide to change into training/fighting clothes. Maybe if I tried this out I won't be seen as weak.

As evening approached, the castle was soon packed. From high ranking royals to peasants. I sign up for the combat contest. You only get one round to prove yourself and Im going to prove my worth! The speaker finally came on;

"EVERYONE THE FIRST FIGHT WILL BEGIN SOON, THE CHALLENGERS ARE MC V.S [INSERT RANDOM NAME]."

Great, I'm up first. This is going to be fun, I've rehearsed all the spells I know and combat skills

After I won my fight, the cheer clapped their hands. I sat down and chugged down a bottle of water.

"Nice job out there!" Zax patted me on the back.

"Yeah, thanks." I smiled at him.

We talked until it was his turn to go do his fight.

The night went on with fighting, screaming, etc.
Soon it all ended, and everyone left. I took a shower, got in my pjs, and went straight to bed.
