¡Buenos dias! ¿Cómo puedo ayudarlo hoy, señor?- Good morning! How can I help you today sir?

Te prometo que te patearé el trasero!- I promise I'll kick your ass!

I was never a complacent woman, but I did what Alejandro told me to do. I laid low and stopped trying to contact Valeria just until this all blew over. Alejandro kept me updated which he had promised and I was keeping my end of the bargain.

However two days after Alejandro left I opened the store as normal because that's what I had to do. Lay low and act normal but when you're mixed up in corruption there never seems to be a moment of peace.

A man walked through my front door as I was arranging flowers. He was dressed in a blue button down with an army vest. He was armed, but that was normal in Las Almas.

"¡Buenos dias! ¿Cómo puedo ayudarlo hoy, señor?"

"Sorry I don't speak Spanish. Do you speak English?" The man spoke with an American southern accent. Immediately I knew something was off, he wasn't from here.

"I do." I confirmed and he perked up slightly.

"Well good, my name is Commander Phillip Graves and you are y/n right?" Alejandro said I was supposed to lay low so who the fuck is this? He also knows my name which isn't good. This guy was a walking red flag for me.

"Phillip Graves you said?" I tried to avoid answering his questions.

"Yes ma'am that's me. I'm the commander of the Shadow Company." I tried to recall if Alejandro ever mentioned a Shadow Company. Then it hit me, back at the penthouse Soap mentioned that Los Vaqueros and the Shadow Company had teamed up. I quickly texted Alejandro about this Phillip Graves visiting the store. Shit he was probably on a mission.

"Did Alejandro send you?" I asked hoping he would give an answer. He was being so vague and there was definitely a reason for it.

"No he did not. He's on a mission right now with my men."

"I figured that."

"Listen I won't waste your time, I'm here to ask some questions about the cartel leader Valeria Garas. From my understanding, you also have a connection with her. Now you're not in trouble, y/n I just need to ask you some questions down at the base." Well shit I should have seen this coming. I need to play it cool.

"How obligated am I to come down to your base for questioning. Do you have a warrant?" This could go two ways, I call his bluff and he leaves me alone or he'll make my life difficult.

"Ma'am I will have to arrest you if you don't come willingly." He said sternly. Damn it, so he was serious.

"Fine, let me close up my shop and I'll go with you." This was really not good. I just hoped Alejandro got my text so he knew where I was.

Graves took me to one of his standard black army car and drove me to the base. The car ride was the most awkward thing I had experienced in my life. I had been to Los Vaqueros base countless times but for some reason it felt different when I pulled up with Graves.

Alejandro's base was crawling with Graves' shadows as he liked to call them. I didn't see a single Vaquero in the place. Inside they took me to a room and sat me down in an interrogation room.

"Let's cut to the chase. We know of your relationship with Valeria and you helped coordinate her plans." Graves said, placing a file down on the table. I looked at him puzzled before I went through it. Well this man was dense. He's got no clue and who told him this information anyway? Almost everything inside the file was accounts of me and Valeria together but taken out of context or it was blacked out.
