Chapter 3 | Fresher's Party

A/N: I don't know what really happens at freshers' parties so please don't mind if I write something wrong

Louis' POV

I walk into the Freshers party, with Liam and Zayn, my new flat mates beside me, looking for a mop of curly hair. I smiled when I saw him and a blonde guy by a bar and made my way over with the boys.

"Harold" I called out, getting closer. "Lewis" He returned with a smile and god, those dimples.

I smiled once I got there. "Hey mate, you must be Niall" I said to the blonde guy. "Yeah" He said, accent Irish, and pulled me into a hug. I introduced Liam and Zayn and we all went to get more drinks before finding a table to sit at as a teacher went up on stage and started speaking.

About an hour later, we were all a bit tipsy, and had made friends with a group of girls who live on the same floor as us; Jade, Julia, Debbie and Leah. We laughed and talked as a few people performed on stage, I watched as Niall stood up and dragged Harry, who stumbled behind him,  to the middle of the dance floor and smile as they started dancing goofily, limbs flailing around wildly. His smile so wide his cute little dimples might get permanently engraved into his cheeks, not that I'd complain. I continued to watch as Leah joined them, dancing along crazily.

"You like him, don't you?"

I jump, feeling like my heart just fell out of my chest. "Jesus, Julia, you scared the shit out of me" I turned around "He totally likes him" Debbie adds from the other side of the table where she was talking to Liam and Zayn. "What? No no..no I don't" I say, getting a bit overwhelmed. "Please, you look at him with such heart eyes, my gaydar breaks every time you two look at each other" Jade joins the conversation

"Uhm no I don't" I said 

"Fine maybe a little bit" I admitted "I told you" She said. "He likes you too, for the record"  "I don't know, I hope he does, he's adorable" I say, smiling as I turned back to watching him, ignoring the "Whipped" that Jade sing-songs behind me.

"I'm going to go get a drink, coming Zayn?" I got up after a while and waited for Zayn to join me.

We sat by the bar for a while before Harry came stumbling out of the crowd toward us. "Louissss" He giggled, dimples on display, and opened his arms, asking for a hug. My heart just melted and is now a puddle on the ground. I smiled and got up from my seat and wrapped my arms around him. He slumped into me while I played with his curls. "You okay, love?" I asked quietly, the words left my mouth before I could stop them

I felt him smile and nod against my neck. I loved having him close and in my arms. "Dance with me, Lou?" He asked, eyes sparkling "Sure" I smiled, as butterflies erupt in my stomach.

I felt a spark of electricity shoot up my arm as he grabbed my hand and pulled me towards the dance floor. I laughed as he danced crazily and started dancing along. "Louu,  if you..crack your knuckles will they start glowing like glow sticks?" Harry asked me, giggling "You're a bit drunk" I chuckled "I'm not drunk, I'm Harry" He pouted adorably. "C'mon, let's get you some water" I laughed, and led him to the table where I gave him a glass of water and took a seat.

"Had fun?" Zayn smirked, I playfully glared at him in return. Everyone had almost sobered up by now "Do you want to leave? We can all hang out at our flat" Niall suggested. The party was starting to get boring now. Hums of agreement echoed from around the table.

We all got up and walked back to the apartment building, luckily it was only a ten minute walk from the campus, the cold air sobering us completely.

We all change into comfortable clothes and make our way over to Niall and Harry's flat and pile into their living room. Half of us sit on the couch, the other half sit on the floor and Jade and Leah share one beanbag while Niall sits on the other. Me and Zayn get comfortable on the couch while Liam sits on the floor, besides Niall's beanbag. "Anyone want a beer?" He asks, getting up, almost everyone said yes, so I watched as he went and pulled out a beer six pack out of the freezer, which was full of beer

"Is your whole freezer filled with just beer?" Leah asked in surprise "Yeah, need it to survive" Niall shrugged casually. "I'm going to be over at your place a lot" She jokes as the takes two beers, one for her and one for Jade.

Harry walks into the living room and I try not to coo at how adorable he looks. He smiled a little and sits down next to me. "So are we going to order food?" Debbie asks "Yes please, I'm hungry" Niall says as I reach out to the beer pack and take two, handing one to Harry. "I'll order, what do we want, Chinese or Pizza? Those are the closest delivering restaurants" He asks, which was a big mistake because now everyone is fighting over what to order.

We ended up ordering pizza. We sat in a circle on the floor and played games like UNO and Truth or Dare while we waited for the food

We had all finished our pizza and now everyone was taking turns playing FIFA on the PlayStation. I just beat both Niall and Jade. Now everyone was either asleep, almost asleep or watching Liam loose against Debbie.

Harry was asleep on my shoulder, wrapped up in the fluffy blanket he draped over the two of us. He looks so peaceful in his sleep, all his features are relaxed, he looks utmost angelic. I wrap my arm around him and I smile, content with the group of friends I've found.

Love yall, I wanted to update yesterday because it was Lou's birthday but I hadn't finished the chapter

So my present to all you lovelies is an extra long chapter and an early update!!
