Harry's POV

Harry is welcomed by soft music and Louis' beautiful voice singing along softly as he walks into Louis' room. Harry walks in and plops down on his bed. "Hey Hazza" Louis stops taking clothes from his wardrobe and throwing them in his suitcase to turn around and greet him, falling on the bed beside him. "Which album is this?" Harry gestured to the vinyl spinning on the record player by the bed. "Scars and Stories, by The Fray" Louis said softly, turning his head to face him and smiled his sunshine smile, and Harry is glad they aren't standing right now because his knees surely would have given out.

"You like The Fray?" Harry questioned, getting off the bed to sit on the floor, leaning against it as he goes through Louis' collection kept on the bottom shelf of his bedside table. "Love them" Louis sits down beside him. They sit there in comfortable silence until Louis starts singing again, with a small smile on his face, one that told Harry this song was special to him, and Harry wanted to know why. He wanted to know every little detail, every special memory, every small thing about Louis because he thought Louis was the most wonderful person on the planet and he wanted to know all about him.

Harry, after much hesitation, decided to ask Louis about it. He scooched a little closer to him, so that their shoulders were brushing against each other. It was a small gesture that made Louis look over to him and smile. "I have a feeling this song is quite special to you, but I don't know if I should ask why" Harry spoke softly, and Louis smiled, "Do you really want to know?" He asked. "Yeah" Louis smiles, turning back to face the wall.

"At the beginning of last year, I'd gone through a really bad break-up, like a really bad one. The douche broke up with me through text, can you believe that?" He laughed bitterly "And when I asked him why he said he found someone better. He wasn't even sorry. Anyway, I was really broken, I wouldn't leave my room except to eat." He said, looking straight ahead. Harrys heart broke for Louis. He didn't deserve to go through any of that. Harry would treat him so much better than that idiot who was stupid enough to let him go. He took Louis hand in his, lacing their fingers together and squeezing them.

"So my friends, Oli and Luke, barged into my room one day and made me pack my bags, saying they had a surprise. They took me on a five day road trip in Oli's tiny little car. Turns out they hadn't really planned anything, so we had so either sleep in the car or on the grass and steal food for five days. This song, 48 To Go, was the one song we played on repeat for the whole trip. It's one of my best memories with them" Louis finished, now smiling a small smile. Harry didn't know what to say, so he squeezed Louis hand and rested his head on his shoulder.

"That guy was an idiot. You deserved so much better than him" Harry spoke up eventually. Louis turned his head to look at him with a soft smile gracing his face "Yeah?" He asked "Yeah, he was so stupid to let you go" Harry tells him. Louis leans in to kiss his temple, and rests his forehead against it, loosely wrapping his arms around Harry's torso. Harry smiles shyly and leans into Louis' embrace.

Louis presses one last kiss to Harrys temple, then pulls away to restart the album. He helps Harry stand up and then wraps his arms around his waist "Dance with me" He smiles and spins Harry around, who laughs and trips over his own feet. Louis throws his head back, laughing and helps Harry up again. They jump around, making up silly dance moves and laugh along to Heartbeat, till the song ends, collapsing on the bed after it's over, laughing
