Chapter 9 | It's Almost Christmas!

Louis' POV

"C'mon everyone! Hurry up" Louis yelled at everyone running around the house, looking for one thing or another. "Finally" He rolled his eyes at Fizzy as she hopped out the door, pulling her shoes on. She stuck her tongue out at his back when he turned to lock the door behind him.

He takes his mum's car, with Harry, Lottie as Fizzy and Dan, his mum and the twins got in Dan's car. They were going ice skating today. His mum's friend owned the rink, so they visited a lot during the winters. They blasted music once they pulled out of the driveway, laughing and screaming the lyrics the whole way to the rink.

He parked behind his parents and got out, opening the door for Harry, who thanked him with a knee-weakening smile and a quick peck on the cheek. Blushing furiously, he opened the door for his sisters, getting teasing stares from each of them. They all joined the rest of their family, Harry and Louis walking behind them. Louis reached out to hold Harry's gloved hand. Louis looked to him when he tugged his hand "Haz?" He asked "You okay?"

 "Yeah..just-um..I've never ice skated before" He said quietly, flushing red. Louis laughed fondly, this boy was so cute. "That's totally fine, kitten. In fact, that's even better, because I get to teach you" He told him, suddenly spinning him around. They both giggled when Harry almost fell over, tripping over his own feet. Louis grabbed his bicep to steady him.

"C'mon babes" Louis pulled him along. As they waited in line to get their skates, Daisy spoke up, giggling "Harry, your name sounds like Haribo candy" She said. "It does!" Phoebe looked to her, shocked, and they both started giggling again. "We're going to call you Haribo now" They told him. Louis' heart warmed at the sight. He loved that his family was being so loving and accepting towards Harry, he fit in perfectly. His sisters were already giving him nicknames. They got their skates and headed towards the bench to put them on while his mum and Dan went into the small cafe by the rink "Text me if you need anything" Dan had told him before leaving with Jay.

Louis and Harry put on their skates before helping the twins. Phoebe played with Harry's hair as he did her laces. Louis smiled at them. All of them slowly headed onto the rink, wobbling a little, before getting the hand of it, even Phoebe and Daisy. Louis turned to see Harry wasn't on the rink yet, but was standing right by it, seemingly contemplating whether he should get on or not. 

"Harry, love, it's nothing to be afraid of" He held a hand out. Harry eyed it before grabbing it and stepping onto the rink. "See, its not that ha-" Louis said but started laughing as Harry fell down. "It's not funny" He pouted. "Of course, love" Louis helped him up, still laughing 

"Don't mind him, Harry, he's a bully" Fizzy said from behind him. Louis helped him skate a little, before he fell again "You're like bambi trying to walk" Louis laughed, he was so adorable "What is it with you calling my animal names lately?" He whined, pouting, while he stood up (with much struggle). Louis laughed more, moving forward to wrap his arms around his waist and kiss his cheek.

A while later, Harry finally got the hand of it, and now all of them were skating together. Louis skated around with the twins, holding both their hands, as he listened to their stories from school "So they told him he'd have to go to the principal's office if he did it again" Phoebe finished

"Haribo!" Both of them cheered as Harry shakily skated over to them "Hey" he smiled "You finally got it" They said "I did!" He smiled cheerfully at him "Skate with us" They each took one of his hands and moved forward. The four of them were skating together when Phoebe stopped with a squeal "Loulou, Haribo, you're under the mistletoe" She said "That means you have to kiss" Daisy giggled. Harry flushed red while Louis glared at them "Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!" They started to chant, making Louis laugh and wrap his arms around Harry's waist.
