Later Y/n did report to the police about their mother using the recording she had.
Police did have to do investigation and asked the neighbours around them about any suspicious activity being heard. Of course The Shinonome's had told the police about the loud noises every afternoon and sometimes even things breaking and shouting.
Lastly the police investigated the house. They saw all the broken items and even traces of blood stains faintly seen on the carpets.

M/n was deemed as guilty and got arrested. Y/n and B/n's father found out and decided to leave them by themselves for another woman. Police tried to find nearest relatives to look after them. Their father was an only child and his parents were already dead. Their mother did have a sister. Which was Y/n and B/n auntie. She was the mother of the Tenma siblings.
The family decided to take care of B/n and Y/n but they had to move into their home since their current home didn't seem to fit all of them. But the Tenma's parents promised to refurnish the home completely for B/n and Y/n.
To be honest, Y/n was really relieved to hear that. She was going to stay with Akito longer than she thought.
So she decided to surprise him.

Y/n waited for Akito at her door step. When she saw Akito she waved to him. Akito was shocked and ran up to her.
"Did they decide to stay here?!" Akito asked.
Y/n grinned before smiling.
"Yup! I'm really glad!" Y/n said.
Akito smiled before hugging Y/n.

School
It was lunch time and as usual Y/n sat in her space looking outside the window. She felt like she was reflecting on her life choices to be fair.
Until she heard somebody say something to her.
"Hey! You seem lonely! What's your name?"
Y/n turned her head to see a boy who looked really smiley. She even felt him radiating very energetic energy.
"Me?" Y/n asked.
"Of course! Who else?" He laughed.
Y/n smiled.
"You're the first person who asked for my name! I'm Y/n L/n, you?" Y/n responded.
"(Friend name - F/n)! Nice to meet you!" F/n said.
"Wow! You really seem like a fun guy! Are you new here?" Y/n asked.
"Thanks! You seem like a fun person too! Anyway! I am! Do you mind giving me a tour?" He asked.
"No I don't mind!" Y/n said before standing up from her seat.

"This is the library!" Y/n said.
"Woah! Cool!" F/n said.
"And!...Oh? F/n you see those group of girls?" Y/n said.
F/n looked at her direction.
"What is going on?!" F/n questioned.
"A popular guy names Akito Shinonome is what the girls always talk about...sometimes a bit weirdly..BUT! More that later yeah?" Y/n laughed.
"Poor dude! Is he a good person?" F/n questioned.
"He is!" Y/n chuckled.
F/n laughed.
"I'd definitely help him out if I was close to him! I don't want to have him lose his popularity!" F/n said.
"You saying you could easily steal those girls?" Y/n said.
"Well yeah! But I don't want to!" F/n joked.
"Wow! You're that confident aren't you!" Y/n grinned before patting his shoulder.
"I don't radiate energy for nothing do I Y/n?" F/n smiled back.

Akito was getting annoyed by the minute from the group of girls. Until he saw Y/n and another boy laughing with each other. Akito's eyes widened. Now he really felt annoyed.
"Can you all just go away?" Akito huffed.
"Just give us-"
"Please go away." Akito glared.
"Okay! I apologise Shinonome! I still love you!!" One of the girls said.
The girls walked away which made Akito see the two clearly. He walked up to the two and slightly glared at F/n.
"Who are you?" Akito asked.
