after eating, the two walked the streets of paris, jackets wrapped around them tightly to around the chill air that surrounded them. the two haven't spoken to each other, avoiding the obvious tension.
"look, it's a canal," lillie looked up at the boy with a big smile, running over to the fence, surrounding the canal. he walked slowly, admiring the girl's excitement.
"isn't in beautiful," lillie's soft voice apple once she felt the presence of percy beside her. she leaned against the fence, starring into the water.
"yes, it very much is," percy voice was just above a whisper, lillie almost didn't hear it. she looked over to him to see him looking at her instead of the water.
"we better get back to the hotel, it's getting late," she cleared her throat. she wrapped her arm with his and began to walk towards the hotel with him.
