Dan Heng's POV
I snapped out of my thoughts when a hand grabbed my shoulder. "Hey, are you okay?" the general asked, but I didn't bother answering him as I was still too stunned to reply after witnessing that memory, or rather, one of Dan Feng's memory.'Was that... how Dan Feng confessed his love to (M/N)? So that's what (M/N)'s connection is to him? He was my previous incarnation's lover?'
I put my left hand on my chest, feeling my heart beating at a rapid speed. The glow in my bracelet has dimmed a little bit, however it still stayed. I then remembered the words that voice said.
"He's finally here... My beloved... has finally returned... It's about time..."
'That was... Dan Feng's voice... But what did he mean by that? Could this mean that (M/N) is here? In the Luofu? And if so... where? Where can I meet him? I have to see him!'
"Look, your friends are taking the fight to the Legion as we speak..." JingYuan interrupted my thoughts as he saw the Express Crew from a distance, looking ready to fight. I decided to shove away my inner thoughts for now and said "We need to help them, let's go!"

(M/N)' POV
I slowly opened my eyes. Taking a look at my surroundings, I realised that I was still in the same room at the Alchemy Commission on the Luofu."You're awake. Have you slept well?" a deep voice rang through the room. My eyes went slowly to meet the person who talked to me, only to meet a raven haired male, locks flowing like a pristine waterfall down to his hips. His outfit was very detailed and had a beautiful colour palette of black white, and turquoise. My gaze then went to his face, a handsome one with sharp jawlines, a beautiful pair of plump lips formed in a smile, a pretty nose, and a pair of bright emerald eyes who softly looked at me.
I looked at the man with a daze. 'Who is this beautiful man? I feel like I've met him before... but where?'
"-tient? Patient?! Hey! Snap out of it!" a more shrill voice snapped me out of my thoughts.
"Huh?!" I shot up, fully awake, and faced the male, although, I thought I was facing a male because right now I saw Lady Bailu in front of me, looking at me with a deep frown...
'What? Where is that male? I wanted to see him a bit longer... Was it just an illusion? ... Am I becoming delusional?'
I sighed and looked the Healer Lady in the eyes. "Lady Bailu, I'm feeling better now and I was wondering if I could take a small stroll around the Alchemy Commission."
"Hm... You look like you need to get some air, patient (M/N). Alright, I'll allow you to do that. Let me give you a quick checkup first."
After Lady Bailu deemed me healthy enough to leave the bed for a short while, I was permitted to leave temporarily under the condition that I would return within 30 minutes and that I would only walk in safe places, to which I agreed.
"Oh, you might as well change clothes. Yours were soaked and dirty so we washed them for you," Bailu said as she handed me an outfit in traditional Xianzhou style.
"Ah, thank you," I thanked and changed myself before looking at myself in the mirror. I muttered why it suited me so well before leaving the room. While walking wherever my feet would bring me, I was in awe of how pretty the buildings were from up close. I kept walking and walking and walking without keeping an eye on my surroundings...
