Vanessa "Ok so, where do we start?"

Vanessa and Tendo were sitting at a table in the bat, Tendo was going over his notes about the next target.

Tendo "Yunno... maybe I'm having 2nd thoughts.... maybe it would be more fun to watch you stumble in the dark trying to find your way"

Vanessa had no time for Tendos games, she didn't care if he hated her or not, she had a mission that she needed to do, Tendos feelings were nothing more than an afterthought to her.

Vanessa "Cut the bullshit Tendo, it's best that you assist me. This targets  death benefits the entire city"

Tendo "Do you deny his death benefits you as well?"

Vanessa "What?"

Tendo "I'm talking about your bloodlust Vanessa, the joy you get whenever you kill someone, people see it in your eyes whenever you murder, that apparently it brings you pleasure"

Vanessa "I have no idea what you are talking about, and even if i did, such things do not concern me"

Tendo "Your actions very much concern me!"

Vanessa was now starting to get extremely angry at Tendo

Vanessa "Then don't help me. I'll find them myself!"

She then got up to leave, Tendo sighed to himself and stopped her from exiting the bar

Tendo "Wait, wait. It won't do having you stumble about the city like a blind man, The count is adamant on you completing these tasks. Better you know what to do"

Vanessa "I'm listening."

Tendo then sat back down at a table with Vanessa and showed her his notes.

Tendo "Your target will be the William Hill, Richest man in the city and also one of the biggest politicians in the city! Isn't that exciting, Vanessa? Its also very dangerous! If I were a betting man, I would envy you, Vanessa. Well, not where you were beaten and stripped of your rank, or the part where the rest of the Vampires hate you, or the part where you have to babysit by others during these missions. But aside from the failure and the hatred I would envy you very much!"

Vanessa "For the love of God cut the sarcasm and just tell me what we have to do!"

Tendo laughed, he was enjoying toying with Vanessa.

Tendo "For real though, William Hill is corrupt to the core and is hated by pretty much everyone in the city as a result. It appears he's been stealing money meant for the people and spending it on himself. As expected he is also a Lycan in disguise, having a Lycan in such a high position of power severely harms us"

Vanessa "When do we strike?"

Tendo "Tonight, he hosts a conference gathering in city hall, we should be able to slip in unnoticed and eliminate him"

Vanessa "Alright..... I guess I'll see you then"

Vanessa was not too thrilled to be working with Tendo, but if it meant getting the job done then she had no choice, she would do what she must.

THAT NIGHT

Tendo was waiting outside the city hall, soon enough Vanessa would catch up to him.

Vanessa "So how exactly are we getting in?"

Tendo "You are lucky I was able to pull a few strings and make sure we get in without suspicion"

Vanessa "........you just bought tickets didn't you?"

Tendo "Do not question my methods"

Vanessa groaned and followed Tendo inside city hall.
