Vanessa "Ok.... open your eyes"

Shay "Where have you taken me?"

Vanessa "Open them and you'll find out"

Shay did as he was told and was shown a great view, Vanessa had taken him up to the tallest tower of the city that had the best view of the entire area.

Shay "I've never been this high before"

Vanessa "Just something nice I thought we could do, I've got an important job I need to do after this"

Vanessa was not sure if she would be coming back from the fight with Thomas she has to look forward to, while she was confident in her skills, there was still the very big possibility of death, she wanted to spend a final moment with Shay before that.... and tell him everything.

Vanessa "Listen Shay.... I have something I want to tell you"

She then took a deep breath and explained that she was a vampire, Shay took a few seconds to respond but when he did, he merely just chuckled.

Shay "I had a feeling that was the case"

Vanessa "Adam is a vampire aswell.... he wanted me to keep these secrets from you.... I thought it wasn't fair to"

Shay "So.... is that the reason Adam left us?"

Vanessa "I have no idea, I plan to weasel the truth out of him one day"

She then turned to Shay and smiled.

Vanessa "Me being a Vampire isn't gonna stop us being together, I'm so close to finding a way to make this work.... I just need some more time"

Shay "I get it... do what you have to do"

Vanessa gave him a kiss on the cheek and waved goodbye.

Vanessa "I'll see you in a bit"

She then performed a leap of faith off the building and disappeared into the night.

Shay "So Adam is a vampire... that's definitely a suprise"

??? "My my.... isn't this touching"

Shay turned around to see who was talking, someone he didn't expect.

Verona "Don't worry darling.... I'm not gonna hurt you... at least not yet"

LATER THAT NIGHT.

Vanessa was standing in the middle of the road outside the city, she still had contact with Thomas from when they worked together and asked him to meet her there.

Soon enough he appeared behind her.

Thomas "Funny place to meet up Vannie... I'm guessing you didn't do it just because you missed me"

Vanessa "You know what I want... coincidentally enough... you're my last target"

Thomas chuckled and pulled out his sword.

Thomas "You caused the Lycan a lotta trouble yunno, killed some of our best people"

Vanessa "Yeah... I killed them... for good reason, Hyde... he was selling weapons to the opposition, Syd the nurse... she was kidnapping people from other cities and experimenting on them, William stole money from trust funds and charity drives, same with Shaun"

Thomas "You expect me to believe these outlandish tale?"

Vanessa "You knew these people, better than I. Are you truly surprised to learn of their ill intentions?"
