Pip's POV:

"Well, i discovered she was missing when she wasn't anywhere." she says fidgeting with her hands. "I went everywhere, but no sign of her."

Ravi hasn't moved his eyes off of me as I know after she leaves he's going to say stuff like how I shouldn't do this case. Previously, Maddy told me that the police wouldn't do a single thing about her missing sister saying its a phase for teens to run away. Cara and Conner are just giving each other looks on how I was stupid to say yes to this case.

"Okay, was she bullied or acting weird in anyway?" I handed her a tissue for her runny. She nods and wiped her nose to make room for the words.

"She was acting weird, for about..2 months." She sighs as she threw away her used tissue. "She was sweet and kind but in those 2 months—she was a monster."

I titled my eyes and squinted my eyes in confusion. A monster?

"A monster? In what words do you mean tha-" I said until I was interrupted by Maddy.

"A horrible one. She would yell and throw things around. She talked bad about her friends and family and was out of control." she said as she wrapped her hands around her forehead.

"Wow. Must be family if you guys did the same thing." Cara mumbled. I shot her a look as she referred to Maddy mentioning her sister throwing stuff.

I see what Cara is going at..

"Okay, two more questions and you can leave Maddy." I breathed in and continued, "Where was she last? Did anyone report of seeing her? Another question, what does she look like?"

Maddy handed me a photo of a 16 year old girl with ginger hair and green eyes. A smile was shown, making me feel warm inside. I couldn't imagine seeing this same person acting the opposite way.

"Me and my mother," she started tearing up and wiped her eyes. "We said goodbye to Estelle for school but she didn't care and slammed the door. on us"

I looked at Cara, Conner, and Ravi as they were already staring at me. "Okay thank you Maddy, send me your house location and I will investigate later today." I started walking her to my front door, handing her my phone number on a paper.

"Thank you Pippa.. please find her... my mother.. and I.. are very worried about her" She said hugging me tight.

"Of course, thank you." I said pulling away and closing the door.

I turned and saw Ravi, Cara, and Conner with worried faces.

"You just got done with recovering from a overdose, Pip." Conner said crossing his arms.

"I know, but I need to do this—For Maddy—For Estelle." I said putting a hand on my face.

Ravi walked towards me and hugged me. "You already went through too much Sarge." he sighs, "I.. We don't want you being hurt again."

I know they are worried but I can't just back out just like that. This case, It's my responsibility to find Estelle.

"I will be careful—Promise you guys." I said as I removed my hand off my face. "Lets just play Uno and possibly Game of Life. "

"Hell yeah—Game of life!!" Cara yelled running upstairs.

"I will be the Boyfriend of Pip in the game" Ravi said with a smile.

"That's not how it works Ravi, but you do you." Conner laughs.

Cara, Conner, and Ravi were out of my sights, in my room as I stood on the 5th step.

I know for a fact something is going to go wrong  when I investigate this case. I just have gut-feeling that something is wrong about this case.

"Miss Sweet F-A come darling!" Cara shouted in a terrible British accent.

"Coming Cara!" I said unfreezing and walking up the stairs.

I just know it.
