MAHARAJ AYUDHIK

"They are getting good." I can't stop myself from saying as our teams leapt from branch to branch going all out on the bandits which thrive on the marshals of Sindu Sagar. "Who do you think trained them ?" Nandini said sarcastically as leapt to my side totally ignoring the number of bodies littering the sink lands of marshals. True. She is the one who taught most of us to leap over trees. A mad glint in her eyes as her whip wrapped around one of the bandit's neck and tore it from the body. No one gave any special attention to the scene. They had seen far more worest happen to their families.

Nandini crackled madly as she leapt in front of me towards the sinkholes where the bandits are running. In between dying at the hands of Vijay Sena or Sinklands many if not most will choose Sinklands. Less pain. Sometimes I don't understand what is the difference. Atleast they might have a chance to live not that any single one escaped from our clunches. I shook my head and left for camp. People nodded as they saw me. Some newbies looked pale as they looked in my direction and ran away opposite way. I walked in the tent house I was sharing with Arjun, Abhi and Raj.

He was standing there looking at various maps trying to gouge out our territory. He was in North for too long to be out of loop. He is still familiarising with our course plan and administrating the camp when we went on raids. Afterall he is not that good in leaping over trees yet. Sensing my arrival he looked up at me. "Look at mirror." He said and waved me off. Going back to his maps. I frowned before walked to the full length mirror. My eyes immediately widened as I understood people looked at me with fearful eyes.

From top of hair to bottom of toe I am totally covered in blood. Some of it is even dripping on the floor with a wet splash. But the most frightening thing is the decapitated head in my hand. "I was not aware it is in my hand." I said as I kept it on the table and took out my small dagger and started carving out its eyes. "You still hadn't forgotten about Aditi had you." He asked as the sounds of cutting flesh and bones continued. He acted as if it's a daily occurance. Well it did became a every raid occurance from last four years.

I looked as the eyes were closed in a jar filled with preservatives and ended up in a bag. I will have to rearrange them when I go back to my home. Not the Suryagadh fort but my place. Located in lofty of hills of South. "Take a bath you stink more than me." Nandini said as she entered the room dripping the blood the same way as me. This is no longer a responsibility but a need. This our revenge for what transpired years ago. I smiled left the room.

NANDINI

The smile vanished from my face as soon as Ayudhik vanished out of hearing range. My face grim and the atmosphere darken. Arjun continued his work like nothing ever happened. "What happened?" He asked as he finally kept his work aside and looked at me. I throw him glare. "Devraj's happened." I said as the table began to creak under the pressure. He looked at me worriedly.

"Isn't it better that Vijay Sena don't have to meddle in the affairs of kingdoms ?" He asked. I gritted my teeths.

"I gave you a task. One simple task. Poison a damn whore of a princess and yet you failed." I tried to keep my voice low as I shouted at Arjun.

"She is barely a shell of what she use to be." He replied nonchalantly.

"Still. I told you I want her dead." I emphasized on word dead. "There are still chances that she will recover and blow my cover and then think what type of hurricane it will bring. Ayudhik won't leave me alive." I grumbled the last part.

"I don't know why you want her dead for this long time. This not the first time you had someone sent to kill her. She sure have some damn good luck." He snickered.

"She have to die along with her entire family if I want my family to prosper. Chitra is... " I stopped as I sensed Ayudhik approaching us. I gave Arjun a nod as I climbed away from the window.

VIJAY KUMAR (Maharaj Ayudhik)

I walked among the foliage as I went towards periphery of the camp. The night had already fallen as inwalked on. Sulekha sat calmly sat under a tree with a cobra wrapped around her like a blanket. Only she can be calm with such a large reptile of predator around her more closer to her small frail neck. As I'd sensing my approach it lifted it majestic hood and looked in my direction and then lazily turned it's attention on rubbing his scales against Sulekha.

As if sensing my approach she tapped it's head. The snake immediately reduced its size to that of a small rope. I watched the magical transformation with a fixed gaze as she looked up at me.

"Do you remember from where did Nandini originated ?" I asked. I never paid any interest any of my companions past but now I regret. No one know about how much my senses are heightening and that my sense range had trippled its original size or else there is no way I would be able to catch the conversation between Arjun and Nandini. Yo think someone from Vijay Sena is betraying me is already a heart wrenching pain to thing about.

"Her village use to be on the borders of Garudesh and Dalpatgarh. " She said as thought out it. Having her around Chitra alone is dangerous and not having her will be more dangerous. "After this mission you are coming with me to Suryagadh." I ordered to Sulekha who looked at me amused flicking her forked tongue in air.

"There is no shortage of snakes and humans in dungeons of Suryagadh." I smirked at her face as she laughed. It sent creeps down the patrols. I sent a prayer to Devil to ready the space in hell for the sudden influx of people.
