MAHARAJ AYUDHIK

My senses immediately sharpened as I reached within the borders of Suryagadh. Everyone halted behind me as if sensing the uneasiness in air. The signs are not amiss by us. BHADRANGINI. No one will be able to notice this but for us who had lived by escaping from them for better part of our life we can. "They have their people here." Sulekha mumbled as we entered a tavern. They think they hide very well but not better than us. Sure they helped me in taking care of some people but still they are a threat to Vijay Sena.

In last week the tension between us two had increased. They nearly found our base but we bailed out on main time saving us. None of us want to experience what will happen if we got caught. They are not a major threat to Suryagadh but Vijay Sena and Bhadrangini are like oil and water. We don't mix. That's why we have to retreat to Suryagadh while leaving our troops in depths of southern forest where we rule. We had a plan to bid and plan our time for trying to occupy the surrounding forest regions of Devgiri and Suryagadh as a extra protection cover.

I heard Nandini curse under her breath. This is the fourth tavern we found infiltrated by them. I hadn't got the proper time and force to put my people in places as our people are busy with annexation of south while Bhadrangini used the time to occupy the vacancy. No one will doubt if few girls or elderly women came to work at such places. They are everywhere. While they have no idea about me. I can't saw same thing about Arjun. While in north they have known his identity hence he have to roam everywhere in a disguise even if they didn't saw his face but we are not taking that chance. Luckily this people are not overly skilled or else it would be hell to pay.

"I don't think they know we are here or else they won't send someone this weak. Afterall we had escaped from there elites hands like butter one not just one occasion but more than one can count. They are more likely here to..." Nandini gave her analysis as soon as we reached a secluded place. How much I might doubt her loyalty towards me I don't doubt a single bit towards Vijay Sena. She won't do anything to endanger the forces established by Aditi even at cost of her life let alone some revenge.

"Investigate me. You are forgetting. You left our symbol on the wall while killing the traitors. They might have gotten the hint from there and if that's not it. That birth giver of mine and Bhadrangini definitely have some sort of connection or else they won't have bothered with helping in annexation of Dalpatgarh." I kept my views as we all grown silent. And just then a brilliant idea sprang up in my mind. A way in which I can keep both Nandini and Chitra seperate till I investigate the rivilary between them.

"Sulekha offer yourself to stay at fort and try to infiltrate Bhadrangini." I relaid a telepathic message to Sulekha. No one knows about the unique relationship between us both except Aditi who is dead now. "How about I go to Suryagadh fort along with Vijay. If they want to investigate him and see me as a dismal in distress they will definitely try to rescue me. I can try to infiltrate them that way." Sulekha said shocking them all. Trying to infiltrate Bhadrangini is equal to signing a death contract. Betrayal was not taken lightly in both our organizations. Of course I won't send her to infiltrate Bhadrangini.

"That's not a bad idea that way we can see who they are trying to lure. Vijay Sena or Maharaj Ayudhik." Arjun offered as we again saddled our horses and left towards capital. Somewhere near evening a uneasy feeling boomed in my heart. I subsided it and increased the speed of my horse. Forcing others to follow after me. "What happened ?" Raj asked as his horse galloped beside me.

"I don't know but something is not right. I felt as if a calamity is coming." I said not able a finger on this impending sense. "Like what happened at the time of that raid." Nandini told as we all grown serious and increased the speed of our horses instantly. No one wants to talk about that raid. That's the worst ever happened to us.
