3 | Red Wine.

Tony stark pov

I had just woken up from my long sleep. I got up, took a shower, and put on some underwear and a tank top. I wasn't having any guests or at least none I knew of.

I walked downstairs to see already cooked gluten-free waffles, I stood there confused, I didn't make any waffles. Did I leave them out, I couldn't have because it's newly made. "Jarvis, who made these waffles..?" I asked quietly "Ms. Potts did." Jarvis replied moments later.

I guess I jinked myself, I then looked around, and I couldn't see Pepper anywhere. I took the waffles and walked to my living room, where I saw her laying on the couch on her cell phone.

I sat next to her and looked at her "Liked the date so much you came back for more?" I teased "Actually, I did." Pepper said smiling, not looking up from her phone.

I smirked "Why didn't you tell me you were coming? I would've put clothes on." I asked, as she put her phone down and looked at me, "Actually, I think your outfits are pretty nice." She said as she looked me in the eyes.

"Oh?" I whispered a tiny bit surprised, Pepper never commented on my almost naked looks, I stared at her while I ate my waffles.

After I was done I got up, walked to the kitchen, and put the dish in the sink "Hey pep, want some wine?" I yelled slightly.

"Yes!" I heard back shortly, I quickly made 2 glasses of red wine. After I was done I went over back to the living room, giving her a glass "Don't spill it on my couch." I warned her, "I should be saying that." She said as she took a sip, I smiled slightly.

Then I took a sip of my own, the taste burning my throat. Then I look at her "You look beautiful even when drinking wine." I commented. "You're already drunk?" She asked with a laugh.

I looked at her in confusion, "how am I gonna get drunk from one sip? This only has like 16% alcohol." I asked with a raised eyebrow. "I know idiot, it was a joke" she responded, I simply rolled my eyes.

"We should get drunk together though." I suggested, "Yeah no, that can lead many ways." She said and looked at me "I could convince you." I said as I placed my hand on her thigh. She looked down at my hand and then at me, after looking at me for a while she took a gulp of her wine and it was simply gone.

3rd Person.

"See, you're already drinking. Just get drunk with me" Tony said. "No," Pepper said with a slurred tone. "Fine, Jarvis gets us a bottle of wine," Tony said as he also drank his wine. "Yes sir," Jarvis replied from the speakers and the table suddenly had a bottle of red wine on it. "When'd you install that," Pepper asked.

"Yesterday, Before our date," Tony said as he smirked and took the wine. Opening it and pouring him and Pepper a drink.

Pepper immediately started drinking it then suddenly stopped and looked at Tony "Still can't believe you were jealous of that Clyde guy." Pepper said with a laugh. "I wasn't jealous." Tony defended. But he knew Pepper was right.

"Sure.." Pepper finished her drink, put down her glass, and lay on Tony's chest. "Oh?" Tony whispered as he also finished his drink and set his glass down.

He played with peppers hair while he smiled "You are totally into me." He said after a while "Shut up..." She mumbled. "you've only had two drinks  and your drunk." Tony said as he got comfortable, this time Pepper just hummed angrily at him.

"Sheesh, so you're one of those feisty drunks?" He asked quietly while curling her hair with her fingers.

Pepper had no response this time, Tony guessed she wasn't a heavy drinker, since he's never really seen her drink.

Pepper slowly began to fall asleep, which Tony noticed through her breathing rates.

"I love you, Potts," Tony said as he kissed her forehead, also heading off to sleep.
