5 | The Call...?

3rd person

Soon after Tony's minor nap, he woke up. This time when he moved he made sure not to wake up Pepper, it was midnight and he had to work out the address leak.

He rushed down to his lab and sat down in his seat. "Jarvis! That's track where my address was leaked and who." Tony asked Jarvis "Yes sir." Jarvis said and holograms of articles popped up.

Suddenly Jarvis showed Tony a username, where a comment was issued about his Mansion.
"Hey, Jarvis, Track that users Ip address and tell me their phone number," Tony requested after glancing at it for a few minutes.

"Yes sir, I can have this data for you in 10 minutes," Jarvis said, to which Tony nodded.

Well, it was midnight, and he didn't want to wake Pepper, what could he do?

"J, ring bruce," Tony said aimlessly
After a few seconds, Tony saw a hologram of Bruce's face and the number "Hello?" Bruce said over the speakers. "Hello, What are you up to buddy?" Tony asked, tinkering with random metal "Nothing, I heard your address got leaked... Even I didn't know where you lived" Bruce said.

"You didn't? I'd have to take you here one time." Tony suggested, "Well, I'm in Siberia right now, that'll have to hold." Bruce said "You serious? I could have you here from a jet tonight." Tony said, looking up at the hologram "Really?" Bruce said.

"Genius, Billionaire, Playboy, philanthropist, and you think I couldn't get you hereby tonight?" Tony asked with a hint of sarcasm.

"Didn't think of that, I need one more meaningful day here, then I'll call you," Bruce said and hung up.

Now Tony is expecting Bruce soon. Nice.

He got up and glimpsed at the time, 12:21 am it read, now he'll wait for the number and call in daybreak, "Sir, I have the number, shall I accumulate it for 6 pm?" Jarvis asked unexpectedly "yeah." Tony told the AI and headed upstairs

After he was upstairs he laid down with Pepper. "Where were you?" she asked in a sleepy, Slurred tone. "I was in the bathroom," he said cuddling up to her, and slowly they both fall asleep.

It was now around 11 am, this was an early stint to wake up for Tony, but for Pepper, it was tardy. "Tony! Get up!" She exclaimed and shook him. "What..?" Tony groaned as he woke up. "Tony, it is eleven o'clock. wake up." Pepper uttered.

"Pepper! Eleven is like morning time. I'm staying asleep." Tony spoke sternly

"Tony, it's practically afternoon," Pepper said pulling his hand up and forcing him to get up, Tony objected to getting up, but peppers willpower got him up.

He stood there, rubbing his eyes. "Finally now come on," Pepper said pulling Tony's arm down the stairs.

"You know I can't go out of the house because of you?" Pepper said after reaching the bottom of the stairs "No why," Tony asked, confused. "Because you told everyone 'Ask Pepper' now I'm getting a bazillion contacts every hour," Pepper informs. "Why isn't your phone ringing right now?" Tony asked, "it's on silent, I've had 153 calls during your sleep." Pepper says sternly.

"Then tell them something," Tony says "We're not official, but it's also not off limits Tony," Pepper says. "Your lucky I didn't tell them that we were on the scene," Tony says as he points at Pepper.

Pepper slaps his hand down, "I must be," Pepper said as she walked to the living room sitting down "Pepper?" Tony shouted, "What," Pepper shouted back

Tony didn't make a reply for a while, he forgot what he was gonna say. "Nevermind!" He yelled and rushed down to his lab.

Once he sat in his chair, he thought.

Tony Stark Pov

We needed to make an official announcement... but what am I gonna say? What should we say? We can't just lock up in the house until this goes away.

Especially since Potts hasn't been seen by the public eye in a minute. "Hey, Jarvis, when do we have to return to work," I asked my AI, "In two days sir," Jarvis said, so we had to say something before then.

I guess I'll just sit in here and think... But why wouldn't Pepper want to be my girlfriend? Or at least she acts like it. But I'm Smart, a billionaire, Playboy-- okay that's probably why but still.

I could change, I mean we've already gone on a date. This is too much to think about, I should just ask her... But I can't, she practically already rejected me, even though she said it isn't off limits.

I guess I have a little bit of a chance, but not that good of one.

I got up after my spiral of thinking. Maybe I should just ask her on another date.

I'm pretty sure that'll work.

3rd person pov

It was now 5:45 and Tony was eager to   Call the person who leaked his address. He had 3 ideas, either the guy went on his private property so close that he saw his car, or he's a super-tec and hacked into the systems to have a more detailed version of maps, which would give him Government Cameras. His final theory is that he's some kind of freaky villain that's making it easy for people to find him.

All these ideas were reasonable... But he had to get the truth, it was finally 6 pm so Tony called this guy named 'Luther' he put his phone on speaker and got ready to write some notes.

After a minute, he finally picked up "Hello? Who's this?" A male spoke. "Hello, Luther my name is Tony Stark," Tony responded,  pretty quickly. "Wait what? The Tony Stark?" Luther asked

"Yeah, I wanna know how you saw my car," Tony started to write down notes "well, uh, I used Maps...And I found it..." Luther mumbled, "Now you are lying, Luther just tell the truth, it is impossible to see my car from a mobile app," Tony said

"Okay, fine. I walked up to your house while I was touring places to rent." Luther said, Tony thought this was a dumb reason to lie. "So you walked on private property? Were you aware?" Tony asked, writing down more

"No, I wasn't, it was cool, so I posted it online," Luther said, now running out of breath. "Alright, thanks for the Chat, Luther, I won't act upon this, but please remove that post," Tony said, now having his finger above the hang-up button.

"Yes sir," Luther said as he Hung up. Now Tony had this problem 50% finished.

He just needed to talk to Pepper.
