Undying affection

the Weasley's. Part 3

I look over to him and nudge his arm "Fred." he stops and looks at me "y/n?" 
"It's fine, don't worry about it." I take a few steps and turn around to face him "let's go move those giant legs of yours, We don't want to keep everyone waiting." he chuckles and begins walking "You are just freakishly short y/n, I'm walking slow because you couldn't keep up with me remember." 
"I am not freakishly short I am average height thank you very much." 
" 5 ft is the average height?"
"I am 5'2 so watch your tone Fred Gideon Weasley or-"
"Or what miss y/n who is 5'2." 
"Or I'll kick your ass mr Weasley who is 6'3, Why do you need to be so tall anyways." 
"Jealous are you?"
"Jealous! absolutely not."
"definitely not jealous noted." Fred says sarcastically
"Oh shut up."
"will do." he pretends to lock his mouth and throw away the key. the silence lasts mere seconds before I ask him "how much farther?" using his hand like a puppet he pretends to respond. 
"Fred!" he shrugs and pulls my hand. "slow down you giant." We come to a stop and he puts his finger to his lips and closes his eyes "what?" with one hand he's able to cover both my eyes, He guides me down a rocky path "fred-" he leans close and whispers "not yet." 

We stop abruptly and he removes his hands and says quietly "now you can open them."
"oh wow I'm looking at you." 
"seriously y/n turn around you duffus." He laughs spinning me in a half circle "It's beautiful."
"it's even better at night, thousands of fireflies come out once the sun goes down. Follow me I want to show you something." He leads me toward these big rock he climbs up and reaches down for me "what are you doing fred?"
"look over there."
"where?" Suddenly he wraps his arms around me "wait-!" before I can say anything else we're both plummeting into the water, we hit the water Fred surfaces right away taking a deep breath and choking on water "Fred Gideon Weasley Are you insane!" I yell splashing water in his face 
"Come on y/n- it was funny." he laughs harder and swallows a bunch of water in the process "let me help you out. Give me your hand."
 "I wouldn't need help out if you didn't toss us both in this damn lake."

"quit complaining do you want help out or no?" I groan throwing my hand up to him "that's what I thought." 

"oh shut it wise ass." 

"Fred! there's an elf saying he was invited!" Ginny excruciating voice shouts "we'll be right there." 
"I pray he also brought me a change of clothes or so help me Fred- I will murder you." 

"is there a problem? I was told this is where I was to meet everyone." 

"What did you say your name was Elf?" Ginny says hovering over Mooney. 
"Mooney, Mooney Snape." Ginny raises a brow " Professor Snape is adopting house elves now is he, Why are you here?"

"I am dropping some things off for y/n, she is here right?" 

"why don't you go back to cleaning kitchens or whatever it is your kind does." "Did I hear correctly, you're Ginny Weasley? Third year going into fourth? Am I correct?"
"why does it matter?" 
" I hear you like to cause trouble for my y/n." he takes a step closer "I think it's time you leave elf." Ginny slightly raises her hand to him "Or what child? You'll attack me like you did y/n?" 

"How dare you speak to me like that!"  She shouts as she smacks him across the face "Ginny!" Ron shouts dropping his drink. 
Fred sees what Ginny has done and rushes towards her grabbing her hands and holding them together "what are you doing?" 
"Mooney- are you okay?" I drop my wet sweater and kneel in front of him cupping his face " What happened?" Fred questions. Ginny's expression changes and she acts as if she's frightened. "he was threatening me, I was only defending myself." 

"bullshit!" I stand up drawing my wand "tell me the truth! why did you lay a hand on him?" 
" I swear I am telling the truth. Fred- George you have to believe me." tears form in the corners of her eyes and slowly fall down her rosey cheek "George, What happened?"
