Every Shadowhunter has a Parabatai at one point in their life. When a shadowhunter develops a friendship deeper than any friendship, they are willing to always fight together throughout their lifetime. Isabelle Lightwood has been longing to find hers ever since she was a little girl and even more when her brother, Alec, and Jace Wayland became parabatai.
Jace Wayland always thought love at first sight was the dumbest thing a person could believe in, hell, he didn't believe in love in general. That was until he met Natasha.
Alec Lightwood was always ashamed of his sexuality. He was bi, he knew no one in the shadowhunting world would approve let alone his parents. He had a crush on Jace for a while but soon got over it, he got over being ashamed of his sexuality thanks to a girl named Natasha.
Clary Fray was an artistic 18 year old teenage girl with a best friend by the name of Simon Lewis. She has an amazing older sister who raised her all by herself ever since she was a baby. She looks up to her sister in every way possible, and knows her sister will give anything just for her and she will do the same in return.
Natasha Fray was forced to grow up fast, her father was an evil person who experimented on her by injecting her with super-soldier serum which would enhance her human abilities and flexibility, while her mother walked out on her and Clary when Clary was a month old. Thanks to their family friend Luke she was able to adopt Clary and Simon who grew up in an abusive household.
Simon Lewis was an 18 year old nerdy boy, who is obsessed with star wars. When he was only 5 years old he was found by Natasha laying in the park beat up and bruised indicating he was living in an abusive household, Natasha took him in and raised him as her own just like she did with Clary. He is extremely close with Natasha and Clary, he views Clary as a younger sister (younger by 2 months) and views Natasha as a mother/older sister figure.
