When he blushes

I asked Tanjiro if he could help with a assignment due Monday. He happily agreed and told me he would be over in a bit, he just had to help his siblings. I'm planning on asking him if I could meet them soon.

My mother also hasn't met Tanjiro yet. So she was happy she could meet him once he arrives.

*Knock knock* "I'll get it" my mother said, I placed my books down and went into the living room. "Ah, you must be Tanjiro" My mom smiled at the boy. He bowed before saying hello. "There is no need to be so formal" she let him inside.

"Thank you Mrs L/n" Tanjiro smiled. "Hello Tanjiro" I called out to the boy, his face lit up.

"Y/n" he waved. "Ill start on dinner dear" mom patted my head before leaving. "Come on" I showed the boy to my room. Most of my books on my table and bed. "You're really struggling aren't you?" he asked.

I slowly nodded "There are some things I don't fully get and its making things worse". Tanjiro nodded before walking towards my books, grabbing one of them. He reads it over.

I was behind the boy, looking over his shoulder. His breath hitched, but continued to look over the paper.

Tanjiro's Pov

Most of the things she wrote down isn't half bad, while I was reading the books she came up right behind me, looking over my shoulder.

I felt my face become warm, my cheeks slowly turning a light shade of red. Right... act normal. I managed to calm down a little, my cheeks still red.

"Mhm? why are you red? are you sick?" Y/n noticed my face. Checking my forehead. "N-Nope!". This isn't helping at all!.

She shrugged before taking the papers back. After I calmed down, I continued to help the girl.
