When he has a nightmare

Tanjiro's Pov

"Y/n" I asked, her and I went to the beach for the day, I mustve fallen asleep. Where is she?, I looked around, she was gone. So was everyone else on the beach with us. I stood up before trying to call her.

*Ring*

I looked down, her phone was laying on the sand. I grabbed her phone, even trying to call her parents.. but no answer.

I started to panic, I walked across the beach, hoping to find her or even someone else... but no one.

I walked back into the city but my heart dropped as soon as I entered. Everything fell apart, flames... bodies.

I freaked out even more, not knowing if my family nor y/n was safe. I sprinted towards my house, looking around trying to find someone I knew.

"ANYONE?!" I screamed while I was running and I got no reply back. I arrived at my house but no one was in it, at all. Then I heard my phone ring.

"Hello!?" I answered in a panic. "Tanjiro!, Help!" it was Y/n's Voice.

"Y/n?!, where are you?!" I shouted. "I- I don't know! but the place is going to collapse and we are stuck inside it!" she screamed, I heard Hanakos voice trying to calm her siblings.

"Do you see anything that looks familiar!" I told her, leaving to run outside. "All I- I see is fire and smoke!" I heard horror and panic in her voice. My heart shattered.

"Tanjiro, I think we are near my office!" I heard my mom scream into the phone, Rokuta crying in the background, Nezuko trying to calm him down.

"I- Im coming!" my eyes started to water as I ran, the phone still by my ear.

In the distance I see a building starting to collapse, along with screaming coming from the phone. "I DON'T WANNA DIE" Hanako cried. "WE'LL BE OK, RIGHT MOM?!" Nezuko screamed in the background.

"I-.. I don't know" mom sniffled. A few seconds later the building took a massive fall, more screaming and then the call cut off.

"Y/n?.. Mom?.. NEZUKO?" I stopped near the building. I looked around the mess and spotted a small body laying below a bunch of debris. My heart shattered.

I lost all the people I loved the most...

Y/ns Pov

Tanjiro fell asleep while we went to the beach for a bit, he fell asleep while we were laying on our towels. He sat up suddenly, making me jump.

My face flooded with worry as I saw tears in his eyes. "Tanjiro?" I asked. He faced me before wrapping his arms around me. I was baffled by his sudden reaction. "You're here.." he hid is face in my neck. "Hey hey, what happened?" I wrapped my arms around him.

"Just a bad dream" he murmured. I placed my arms around him. Tanjiro explained his dream, I felt bad for the boy. A dream like that.. "Everyone is safe.. I promise " I played with his hair. He looked up, his face red.

"I'm sorry you had to see that..." he looked embarrassed. "There is no need to say sorry" I smiled at the boy. He nodded happily,
