When he confesses

Tanjiro's Pov

"Tanjiro?" I jump as I hear a voice next to me. "Ah Nezuko" I smiled. "What's on your mind?, you've been daydreaming for hours now" she sits down next to me.

"Uhm" I look towards my book. "Big Brother, tell me" Nezuko pleads. "Ok- its about Y/n" I give in. Nezuko gasped "You love her don't you!". My entire face goes red.

"I KNEW IT!" she squealed. "Ok OK!, but I don't know how to tell her" I look towards her. "I will gladly help!" she smiled happily.

Y/ns Pov

"Ah Tanjiro, how can I help?" I looked up from my desk, Tanjiro standing in front of my desk. "May I.. talk to you outside real quick?" he asks.

"Oh sure" I smiled before following him outside. Once we walked outside he faced me. "Everything okay?" I looked at the boy. "Y-yeah, but I have a question".

I looked at the boy confused. "Do you want to go to the festival after school?, I haven't been there in a while, and I thought.. it would be a good idea"

There is a huge festival going on a few blocks away from school. Ive been wanting to go there for a long while.

"I'd love to!" I smiled. Tanjiro smiled, his cheeks red.

After school, Tanjiro and I went straight to the carnival.

"Woah, this place is huge!" I looked around the entire place. Tanjiro smiled at my reaction.

We wandered around the place for a few minutes until we found a game we saw. We had to throw rings and land it on the bottles.

"You go" I handed Tanjiro the rings. He nodded before tossing the rings. One ended up landing on the bottles.

He ended up wining a teddy bear. "Here you go" Tanjiro handed me the bear. "Huh?, but wont your siblings love this?" I questioned the boy.

"They already have enough" he smiled. I felt my face become warm.

We continued to wander around until Tanjiro said "How about we go in the ferris wheel?" he pointed towards it.

"Sure!" and so we entered the ferris wheel.

I gotta say, I haven't been on one before. And I love it so far.

Tanjiro sat down next to me, before placing his hand on top of mine. I freeze, managing to look towards the boy.

"Y/n.." both of our faces were red. "I like you". "H-huh?".

Tanjiro took a deep breath before talking "Ive liked you ever since you started at the school. I know its only been a few months... but.. you're a amazing person, kind and caring. I couldn't help falling in love".

I didn't know what to say, yes ive had a crush on the boy as well. And didn't know how to confess.. but seems like he did it before I could.

"I like you too" I replied. He looked shocked but with happiness in his eyes. He moved closer, before placing his lips on mine, a sweet kiss. I wrapped my arms around his neck while he wrapped his arms around my waist.

Both our faces were both red as we parted. "You have no idea how happy I am right now" Tanjiro smiled.

This day was amazing.
