They were all sitting inside Anty Fatima's room as Mama told them everything she knows. All of them doesn't know how to express the dark revelation, especially Janan. She has suspected her father for long but she has never ever in her life thought of him capable of doing the dirtiest business ever.
She just can't believe what she's hearing!!
Anty Fatima brushed away the tears in her eyes and looked at her older sister.
"Yaya you have never told me what kind of life you were living, you always pretend everything is okay, how can you do this to me! We have been through alot! and you never for ones think of telling me this till after 27 years of marriage!! I was even under your roof when you find out!! We could have solve the issue somehow!!" Anty Fatima was so hurt to the peek.
"Fatima ki yafemin please, am so sorry." Mama said breaking down. She didn't want to disturb her sisters marriage life with her own.
She just can't
Munira was going to say something when her phone started ringing again, it has been ringing since the last 30 minute and she didn't move to pick it because of how stunned she is. When the phone keep on ringing she finally fish it out from her bag and saw 10 missed calls from Ya Usman and 6 missed calls from her mother and 3 missed call from her father.
What is going on?!
Before she was able to call back another call came in which was her mother. She immediately pick it up.
"Hello Mu-"
"Munira have you seen the news!? I can't believe what am seeing!!"
"What is't" She asked scared. They all looked at her.
"Switch on the television!!"
Munira obliged and looked at the TV in the room placing her phone down. She pick the remote and on the television immediately and all there attention went to the TV.
A footage of all the members when they were handcuffed coming out of the Mainasara's mansion was clearly visible. What almost gave them a panic attack was the face of Alhaji Muhammad Ghali and Alhaji Bello Mainasara also pushed inside the police bus handcuffed.
The news lady started saying " Today 18th of January, a shocking news that shake the whole of the country happens, the famous business mogul Alhaji Bello Mainasara and some senators and ministers were arrested after surfacing of a hidden documents which has a clear evidence of all the well-planned crimes they have been doing and what shock the whole country the most was the assassination of the famous reporter Abdallah Tafida, the father of the youngest richest bachelor Alhaji Nawfal Abdallah Tafida was written in the files. The police has taken the documents for further investigation and because of the arrest Alhaji Muhammad Ghali has been pull out of the governorship candidate. The day of the court trial will be announce soon, i am Zainab Abubakar AIT news."
"Innalillahi wa'inna ilaihi ragi'un.." Mama uttered looking at the television.
Janan feel a bitter lump in her throat, she doesn't know how to described the hatred she has for her father at that moment, he has humiliated there family and destroy every little reputation they have left.
All this time his wealth has been from blood money, everything they have growing up was behind a dirty underground money. Janan feels the hurt tears running down her face, she was going to brush it away when she felt a soft hand on her face wiping away the tears.
"It over Janan. Please stop crying you just came out of the hospital." Munira said touching her face.
"Munira it hurt so much! Its hurt!" Janan sob looking at all of them. Mama could only utter some dua and Anty Fatima was shedding tears.
"Just say a prayer for him." Munira hugged her best friend telling her soothing words.
20 minutes later
Mama looked at Janan who was sleeping her face pale and lips dried from crying. She looked at Munira and Anty Fatima.
"I will go to the police and testify everything I know and I want to talk to the person I have been looking for, Nawfal Abdallah Tafida is the one that took Janan. I know everything now."
She said looking at them.
"Yaya please I beg you don't go there. And now you don't know where to find the person you're looking for, wait till the day of the trial please..."
Anty Fatima said looking at her sister.
"Please Mama." Munira added.
Mama hesitated for a while before nodding her head. She looked at Munira.
"I wants you to escort me to the house and pack our bags. I don't want to live in that place ever again.." She said.
"Okay Mama. I will drive you there."
"We need to call Na'ima and informed her, she's also your daughter Yaya." Anty Fatima said looking at her.
"It has been on my mind. I will call her after we come back..but I won't pressure her to leave her husband. She can decide what she wants." Mama said.
Anty Fatima nodded sadly. She knows how her sister is a very easy going person, she doesn't force things no matter what. She only wished she can be able to remove her distress and filled it with happiness. Her sister has sacrifice so much for her, she has been there for her every step of her life.
She will do anything to see her smile again..
