Throughout the night, Evie and Jack spent much time together. She didn't want him to leave, so he didn't leave. Jack sat on the bed, as he watched Evie from the comfort of it. She was brushing her hair and preparing herself for bed. She noticed him staring at her and turned her head, "What?" She asked him confusingly, "Oh, nothing." Jack said with a seemingly innocent smile. He loved watching her groom herself and prepare herself for bed, then decided to say something witty. "You don't have to keep looking in the mirror to know you're the fairest one of all. I can just tell you that myself." He said with a light chuckle. Evie did her absolute best to keep herself from blushing, but all she did was put a finger to her lips and cover up her smile.
Then, she turned around and walked towards Jack. She climbed onto the bed, and laid down beside him, she just smiled at him. "What?" He asked as she stared at him, "I can't get over how handsome you are. You're the perfect boyfriend, a special gift." She said with a loving look on her face. Jack smiled at her, before getting himself comfortable on the bed. Evie leaned in and kissed him on the cheek, smooching his skin and leaving behind some of her lipstick. She then cuddled up to him, wrapping her arm around his chest, and leaning her head on his shoulder. "Mmm, goodnight." She moaned as she soon fell asleep. Jack rubbed her back and whispered "Goodnight" before kissing her on her forehead. Within moments, the two fell blissfully asleep.
The next day, Jack and Evie had woken up, gotten dressed and gotten breakfast together at the Auradon Prep's dining hall. After they both got their food, they sat together. "I'm so excited for Christmas!" Evie said happily, and Jack smiled as he chewed some of his French toast, casually swallowing it afterwards. "Me too." He replied. "I finally know what I'm gonna wear for Christmas." She said gleefully. "I'll bet it's cute." Jack said before noticing her blush. "I can't wait to give you your gift tomorrow." She sighed happily as she stared at him. 'Tomorrow...' Jack thought, and that's when he realized. Tomorrow was Christmas, and the party was supposed to happen tonight. Jack almost gasped in shock and horror, he had completely forgotten. "Evie..." he started with some hesitance. "Yes?" She replied, "Uh...would you be able to find something to wear tonight, something nice and a little christmassy?" He asked. Evie looked puzzled, "I might have something for tonight, but it's not gonna be my Christmas outfit, why do you ask?" She asked him. "I...want to take you out tonight, somewhere special." He said with some nervousness in his voice. "Like, a date?" She asked. "In a way, but somewhere really special." He said. Evie tilted her head slightly, unsure by what Jack was trying to say. "I'll find something to wear." She said as she put down her fork. "Oh! I have a lot to do today! What time did you want to meet me?" She asked, Jack took a minute or so to come up with an answer, "7 o'clock?" He asked, and she nodded, "Sure." As she got up and left, she said, "See you soon", and blew him a kiss. Jack wanted to hit himself in the head, he knew he was gonna need help on this fast. He waited for Evie to leave the dining hall, and called up Jay,
"Hey, Jay."
"What up, Jack?"
"I really need some help, man."
"Why, what's going on?"
"I forgot that the party is supposed to be tonight!
Is everything ready?""Uhh, as far as I know, yeah. Want me to ask Fairy Godmother?"
"Sure but, I'll go with you."
"A'ight, Bet. See ya soon."
Jack met up with Jay about half an hour later. They went to speak to Fairy Godmother, who had just send Jane off to get some holly while in the courtyard. "Oh, Jay, Jack, it's so good to see you." She said with a heartwarming smile, but she could see that Jack was nervous and looking unhappy.
"Jack, are you alright?" She asked him calmly, Jack took a deep breath before he spoke to her, "Is everything ready for the party?" He asked the headmistress of Auradon Prep. "Yes, my dear. Our special guest is going to be a little late, he can only stop by for a few minutes, before he has to travel around the world." She said calmly, "Okay, that's good, thank you. Our guest of honor might be a little late, but I'm escorting her to the party tonight, she still doesn't know about it yet." He said to her, and she nodded, "That's good. Try not to worry, Jack. I have made sure that all is right for this wonderful holiday. We worked really hard yesterday, and I promise that Evie will love it." She said kindly to the young pirate. "Thank you." Jack replied back with a slight smile, he felt much better now. Jack then went with Jay to meet up with Carlos, and tell him the plan. When the boys met up, Jack explained what he wanted to do, and Carlos nodded in agreement, "sounds like a good plan." And they all fist bumped before leaving each other. Meanwhile, Evie had delivered the last of the Christmas dresses and suits to the students who paid her to tailor them and create them. Around 6:30 pm, Jack checked himself in the mirror, he dressed himself nicely, and put on one of his father's rings, as well as his mother's ring, and two of his own. He styled his hair already, and checked himself in the mirror, then he splashed on some enticing cologne for Evie. He checked his watch, and decided it was time to go and get her.
