"NO!" I screamed so hard I could've sworn I tore my lungs.

In a split second Ironbeard fired his last shot and Amelia shot his weaponised limb with her laser gun destroying it. Ironbeard was powerless and completely compromised now but...

"No no no no....Jim no." I held him in my arms.

He was shot. There was so much blood, I couldn't even tell where it was coming from at first. He wasn't conscious. How could this happen. I fumbled and placed my fingers to his neck. He still had a pulse.

"Amelia please help me. We have to stop the bleeding." I pleaded.

Silver tied up Ironbeard and kept him restrained. Amelia rushed over to me and tore the bottom of her shirt and tied it tightly around the wound on Jim's upper arm.

"Oh my gods....Alright. Listen up (Y/n), you have to keep pressure on the wound. We will get him to a medic as soon as we can. It's going to be okay. I promise you that love, alright?" Amelia tried to reassure me. "He has probably passed out from the sheer shock of the shot, he will come back around, but you have to keep pressure."

I was in so much shock. Holding him. I have to keep hold of him. I'm never letting go. I managed to carefully move us over, a little more out of harms way. I continued to follow Amelia's orders and I felt like everything around me was moving in slow motion. The last of Ironbeards men were being taken down. The prison alarms had stopped sounding, Amelia's men must've gotten there. I pray they are able to get each prisoner back in their cell. I hope Tom is alright. Where's B.E.N.?

"Oh Jim. You better wake up. I know you can't hear me but I love you so much, you cant leave me. I cant do this without you." I sighed, still watching things go by so slow.

"Cant do what?" came a whisper, almost not there, but I heard him and suddenly everything around me seemed to return to normal speed.

"James Pleiades Hawkins! I thought you wouldn't ever wake up." I exclaimed.

"I'm...sorry?" He half smirked.

"No! I'm not mad, I am so relieved. Are you okay? Stupid question. Obviously not." I replied frantically.

"No, no I actually feel alright..." He glanced at the blood soaked material around his arm. "...but I'm starting to think that's just the adrenaline" he continued, his voice croaky. "So what's going on now? The alarms, they've stopped."

"I- I don't want to speak too soon but I think this whole ordeal is coming to an end." I replied, in disbelief.

Amelia stormed over to Ironbeard, who was still being restrained by Silver. "You Ironbeard, are going to rust and rot away in prison for the rest of your life." She placed cuffs on what was left of his iron hands, he tried to transform them into something else but he was stopped. The cuffs glowed a bright purple. "Yeah they'll be none of that transformation business going on in those cuffs." Amelia laughed.

It was just us left on the ship, and a small few from all our crews as well as those who didn't make it. Jims bleeding wound was being kept at bay for the moment, Amelia's makeshift
tourniquet was working for now. In that moment, the men who had ran to the control centre returned. Behind them, a very freaked out looking Tom in cuffs with B.E.N. bouncing alongside him.

"I convinced these guys to not slash my dear friend Tom here with their fancy pancy swords." B.E.N. explained, trying to lean on Tom's shoulder despite Tom being quite a bit taller than he is.

I jumped up, "Untie him, he's a friend I swear."

Amelia's men looked to her for orders but my Aunt was looking at me, skeptical expression spreading across her face. She knows how, deep down, I really try to see the best in everyone. I could tell she was apprehensive. That's when Jim stumbled to his feet and stood next to me.
