Days in Drought

Deep devoured the sunny day
In a puny plain i lay
Cracky lanes of soil, saw i
Saw a flock of wheat that did die

Thirsty cries of earth and death's fume
"God! Did i what to deserve this doom"
It Cried and cried and cried and cried,
"In a cunning way, he lied"

Streams are dread
No way, bread
With the sorrow, i share with earth,
Has given me a new path, of birth

In that path i did, i saw
A man that was dying, too low
Oh! What a terrible sight,
Help him god, the wealthy almight

I rushed to him, to ask for his fate
"All we have are roots, my mate"
Little surprised, i did seem so
A man of hunger, taught me moreso

Given a chance to remake this earth;
Give it god, to the mortals of death
I will plant a plant and care it
Till i realize mistakes i knit
