In "Ensure That the Desert Does Not Grow", the ninth volume of "The Right People" series, Tom and his companions are drawn into a widening circle of intrigue that spans Europe and Africa. Their journey leads them through covert encounters, political maneuvering, and personal entanglements, as they navigate worlds where idealism and ambition collide. Along the way, they facilitate a clandestine meeting between a British intelligence operative and a man intent on becoming the world's most powerful hashish trafficker. Later, they accompany Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi on a journey to Mali, where he seeks to broker peace between the Malian government and the tribes of the country's north. In Timbuktu, they meet President Moussa Traoré and representatives of the Tuareg and Fulbe and witness fragile attempts at reconciliation. Returning to Tripolis, Tom and his friends encounter Oliver Tambo, the exiled leader of the African National Congress and a group of South African freedom fighters, further drawing them into the currents of liberation movements and geopolitical struggle. Amid these events, the long‑standing love triangle between Tom, Nikos, and Sophia finally finds resolution as Sophia discovers new love with a Nubian named Maher. As always, this novel is a work of fiction. Although grounded in extensive historical research, all characters - including historical figures - and all events depicted in the story are entirely fictional. New chapters are published every Saturday.

In a world where the sun is a merciless god and water is a fading memory, the warrior Clans of the desert are dying. The Oasis is retreating into the sand, and the ancient code of the warrior is fraying under the heat of a thousand-year drought. Fennecpaw is an outsider-born to the wandering "Caravan Cats" and dropped into the heart of the waste by a twist of fate. With ears too large for his head and a pelt that shimmers like a mirage, he is dismissed as a useless kittypet. But Fennecpaw possesses a gift that no Clan cat can claim: he can hear the heartbeat of the earth. When a prophetic dust storm heralds the end of the ancestral lands, Fennecpaw finds himself at the center of a desperate exodus. To save his new kin, he must lead them away from the familiar heat of the plateau and into the forbidden Glass Sands, a place of lightning-fused dunes and lethal secrets. Hunted by vultures, pursued by rogue "Sand-Striders," and caught in the crossfire of a brewing war between the Plateau and the Canyon Clans, Fennecpaw must decide if he is a savior or a curse. Below the dunes lies a secret older than the Clans themselves-and a choice that will change the nature of the warriors forever. The sand is thirsty. The sun is hungry. But the water is waiting.

Raiugo, the Dragon Oracle, is sent to Earth by Fate to stay out of the clutches of a mysterious fallen god who seeks the domination of all worlds and the end of Fate. For some time, he has lived in this strange world with its strange people, helping them from the shadows wherever he can while waiting for another sign from Fate as to what or when his next move should be - until he receives a thoroughly unexpected visitor... This is an original work. Originally written for a school assignment but ultimately never submitted - I ended up writing another story that I used instead. This runs parallel to the story I actually submitted, uploaded here as "Winged Reign: Blessings of Ōwatatsumi." Very few changes have been made to this; other than some information corrections and two rephrased sentences, this is the exact same document as what I wrote back then, flaws and all. Again no cover image yet, but I do hope to fix that and add one at some point. "~~~" represents a time skip.

Symbolism is around every corner... ~~||~~ The rain is great. I love how it sounds when it pelts against my window and how it feels on my skin. I never exactly knew why though.

"The feeling of isolation is enough to keep me company." •The First Book of the Eyeseffendee Series• In the Sonoran desert, being alone is a death sentence. Good thing Astor, a young coyote, is part of the Piedra tribe, where he always has shelter, food and water. Too bad he's never fit in. He was found as a sick, dehydrated pup on the edge of the Piedra territory. His bright green eyes and golden pelt set him apart as an outsider; an unwanted runt from another tribe. Things are bad enough without the other coyotes teasing him. The neighboring Fuego tribe has been crossing borders, and they are demanding more territory. When hostilities between the tribes are high, Astor witnesses something terrible: the Piedra tribe's leader is murdered by a shape shifter. The Shifter disguises himself as the chief and exiles Astor from the tribe. Astor is the tribe's only chance. But can he save the tribe that treated him as an outsider? <---•••---> The inspiration for this book came when I was driving through Colorado desert on interstate 70, looking out the window. I couldn't help but wonder, "what's out there?" Eyeseffendee answers that question one way, through the eyes of a young, angsty coyote, but I don't know what's out there. There could be wendigos, shape shifters, spirits and other creatures, or there could just be sand and sage brush. Either way, keep exploring and stay adventurous🏜

The rains vanish. Rivers turn to dust. Animals grow desperate-breaking into towns, circling schools, stealing every drop of water they can find. Dr. Elena Marquez warned this would happen, but no one listened. Now the drought is pushing more than animals to the edge-it's changing people too. Thirst makes neighbors dangerous. Cities erupt into violence. And when the last rain finally comes, it won't save anyone. 🌑 An eco-horror about denial, desperation, and survival when nature turns against us. © 2025 MM.With collaborations of Gemini and Chatgpt All rights reserved.

I wrote these poems as an Aussie farmer during the drought in 2019. 2019 was the last year of the drought, we had already suffered however for 4 years without rain. There were extreme bushfires swallowing the country and even worst dust storms that occurred multiple times a day, it felt there was no escape from the madness that had become our daily lives. These poems were a voice for that frustration and writing it down was my own personal plea of desperation. Right after the draught in 2019 however we got flooding in early 2020, welcomed flooding by most except for those who lost most of there homes and belongs. And well soon after that we had the pandemic hit Australia pretty hard where we went in lock down mid April. Everyday the news spreading so much fear. We were scared to leave our homes. Again I wrote more poetry to cope with the fact that we had just come from one hell the draught to now this new hell the pandemic! It honestly felt like tHe fried would never end. These poems are a representation of that time. I hope you all enjoy.
