Luffy Meets Uta

After Makino got hired as Shanks secretary Luffy and Makino had since moved out of their old house and Luffy still works at the convenience store so he can earn a bit of cash

But today Makino can in a bit too happy not that it was a bad thing since ever since she got the job she has been thrilled

"What's got you in such a good mood mom?" Luffy asked casually

"It's nothing really" Makino replied

Luffy was currently eating some cereal and getting ready for school

"Come on tell me" Luffy asked playfully

"Alright, alright I'll tell you" Makino asked with a bit of a flushed face

Luffy noticed the flush on her face and wondered if it was what she was going to tell him

"It's just that Shanks asked me out!" Makino couldn't help but feel like a 19 year old again

At this information Luffy choked on his cereal and spit a bit of milk as well

"And apparently they are letting us move into this house!" Makino said while holding her flushed face with her hands

Luffy just had his mouth hanging open, he was ok with his mother dating and such, BUT dating the man that is her boss and HIS Idol!

"Um... And when exactly are we moving?" Luffy asked a bit sweating

"Today after you get back from school" Makino said gleeful

Great, this day is going so great

~8 Hours Later~

Luffy had came back from school to see movers, moving his bed to the truck and other things

After a while the movers finally finished getting their stuff to the truck and he got into his mother'a car with a sigh

"What's wrong Luffy?" Makino asked with a worried tone

"It's nothing, don't worry mom" Luffy said with a small smile

It took a while since they lived a bit far away but closer to his school

It was a nice 2 story house it had a small garden, a spacious backyard and front yard, with a small porch

But none the less it was a house Luffy would have to live in

He got to the door and knocked on it and waited

A girl with white and red hair with headphones and what looked like a women's school uniform from his school, opened the door

"What do you want?" The girl said towards Luffy

"Shanks said this was his house and he asked my mom on a date and we are moving in" Luffy said to the girl with red and white hair

"Oh. So you must be Luffy and Makino right?" The girl asked

"Yea, and your name is?" Luffy asked

"My name is Uta nice to meet you" The girl known as Uta smiled to them

"Nice to meet you too Uta" Luffy said

"So what are you doing in Shanks house?" Luffy asked

"I'm actually his daughter" Uta said answering Luffy's question

"His daughter?" Luffy asked in a confused manner

"Yea I'm his daughter and it looks like your my new brother or step-brother" Uta said again with a smile

"Uta who's at the door!" Someone screamed from inside that must have been Shanks

"It's Luffy and Makino dad!" Uta shouted back to her father

Shanks walked out to the front door

"I didn't expect you guys to be here already" Shanks said with a wide grin

"Well we're here already" Luffy grinned back at Shanks

"Why don't you guys enter we can set up your stuff later when me and Makino get back" Shanks suggested

"Sure I don't see anything wrong with that" Luffy wasn't trying to get into any of their business so he just let them be

"Makino you ready yet?" Shanks asked to his date

"Yeah I'm almost done I just need to add something more" Makino was in the bathroom getting ready

"Alright then I'll be waiting in the car outside then" Then Shanks left for his car outside

A few more minutes later Makino came out the bathroom

"Ok, Luffy I'll be gone so be on your best behavior, ok?" Makino told him

"Alright mom no need to tell me twice" Luffy said with a smile

"Alright, see you later and love you" and with that Makino went outside and the car could be heard leaving

"So that was your mom right?" Uta came from her room next to Luffy

Luffy jumped a bit from the sudden conversation

"Yea that was my mom" Luffy answered

"I can see why my dad was interested" Uta said with a grin

"So where will I sleep?" Luffy asked

"I mean you can sleep on the ground or on the sofa but I have enough space on my bed if you want" Uta suggested

Luffy had heard enough stuff with Sanji about the internet and especially when Sanji went into incognito mode to know where that was heading

"I'd rather sleep on the couch until I get my mattress unloaded" Luffy said with a smile and a bit of sweat

"Alright then you'll sleep on the couch" Uta said with a smile

Luffy went to the couch and sat on it and tried to relax from the move and school

Remembering he had homework he decided to get it done instead of doing it later

While he was working Uta came over and placed herself onto of him looking at his homework

"Wow looks like you know your stuff Luffy" Uta sounded impressed

"Uh thanks but could you get off of me?" Luffy asked a bit uncomfortable with the position he was in

"Hm?" Uta sounded like she didn't understand

"I just finished and I wanted to get some rest but I can't do that if your on me" Luffy explained

"Oh, sure" Uta then got herself off of him and Luffy went to the couch to rest

After a while later Luffy was still sleeping and Uta was- in her room when Shanks and Makino came back home from their date

"We're back" Makino sounded cheerful

"Yeah sorry for the wait" Shanks apologized to no one in particular

"It's alright don't worry about it" Luffy was sitting on the couch eating an apple

Next to him was Uta sleeping since it was 9PM she was leaning more towards Luffy but her head wasn't touching his shoulder

"Well we should unload our stuff tomorrow I guess" Makino asked to Luffy

"Sure that's fine" Luffy said back
