Six

The three finally arrive home, Y/n holding Megumi as he fell asleep on the way and Killua walking happily munching on chocolate. 

Y/n unlocks the door and goes in, along with Killua.

Killua starts walking around exploring his new home, only to grow confused when coming across a third door in the house. 

Going back up to y/n Killua pulls on her shirt to get her attention "I thought you said that there was only one bedroom?"

Y/n looks down at Killua confused "Huh? What are you talking about?"

Killua just points to a door on the other side of the living room/kitchen.

"Huh? When did that get there?" Y/n walks over to the door cautiously and sees a note on the door.

Dear Y/n! 

You must be wondering 'When did this door get here?' well the answer is just now. I gave you a second room for the boys so you three wouldn't be stuck in such close quarters.

Also let me just say watching the scene between the three of you earlier had me in tears! You continue to be my favorite one! good luck and be careful it'll only get worse as each day passes.

'WHAT THE HELL!?! The first part was nice and sweet but the last part gives me an uneasy feeling in my stomach.'

Killua walks up to the frozen Y/n and tugs on her shirt once again to get her attention.

"What'd the note say?" 

"Just that Steve gave us another room for you and Megumi." spoke Y/n lowly, not wanting to wake the sleeping Megumi in her arms.

Y/n then grabs killuas hand with her unoccupied arm and guides him to her room.

"Tomorrow we'll go to the mall and get some stuff for you two along with me. After we'll go to the closest elementary school to my high school and get you both enrolled." 

Y/n walks over to her queen sized bed and puts Megumi down then tucking him in.

After tucking Megumi in she turns back to Killua "You two can sleep in here for the night until I get beds for you two tomorrow okay?" 

Killua looks at Y/n nervous "C-Can you sleep with us?"

 Y/n smiles down at Killua "Sure Kil, let me just go change into my pjs and then we can go to sleep."

After a few moments Y/n returns in her pjs.

She gestures for killua to get into bed but Killua shakes his head no "You get in the middle, that way I can protect you if someone breaks in."

'This poor boy he's so trained to be on guard.'

Y/n walks over to Killua and hugs him "You don't need to worry about any of that buddy, nothing bad is going to happen here. Everything's locked, no one can get in."

Megumi then wakes up and rubs his eyes groggily looking at Y/n.

"Mommy? Can you sleep in here too? I'm scared something is going to happen to you."

Y/n laughs before getting into the middle of bed, Killua climbs in a second later and cuddles into her side like a koala.

Megumi also turns to y/n and wraps his arms around her too. 

'I've only known these two for a few hours but I'm already so thankful to have them here with me. It feels good to know I'm not alone here.'
