Biff's phone blared again, again, again, and again! Ranging between text and phone calls. His family's group chat explored sharing messages:

Mom: Biff yelled at me! Denying us to see August!

Dad: I'll give him a call; kid should learn his place

Big Bro 1 (Zach): Sorry mamma, Biff needs an attitude readjustment:)

Big Bro 2 (Jessie): What an asshat!

Mom: JESSIE! WATCH YOUR LANGUAGE!

Big Bro 2 (Jessie): but mooooooooom.

Mom: Remember to repent at church darling.

Big Bro 1 (Zach): Bet Biff won't attend Christmas service.

Dad: Most likely!

Biff: Guys, I'm in the family group chat too.

"Idiots."Biff hissed

"That's a no-no word!" August whispered opening a penguin related book. He cuddled close, letting the black leather couch sallow him; Alex and Biff sat opposite sides letting technology distract them.

"Good memory cutie." Alex's index ruffled August's messy hair.

"Sorry August," Biff shrugged. "Saying mean words make things better." The 'No-No Word' policy really challenged the two giants. Making rules were easier said than done. If to teach the small one actions have consequences, several rules apply to all three boys. Biff tries getting pass some ground rules. He said 'damn' an hour ago and Alex decided to forget. Thank God, cause August say would say what he said right at this moment: "No-No Words means Mr. Piggy Bank earns a penny!"

"Fine." Biff scowled finding his wallet, and gave the piggy bank new coin.

"Family again?" Alex always knew Biff's parents and brothers caused his husband's irritated expressions.

"Why does Biff's family make him sad? I...h...hate when Biff frowns." August said, waving both arms wanting cuddles.

"They tell me nasty stuff." Biff scooped August, letting the tiny snuggle closer.

"Like my mommy and daddy?"

The entire room dropped dead silent.

"Yeah, sort of bud." They handle August's mention carefully. He rarely discussed his and when he did, the conversations lasted thirty seconds.

"Mommy and daddy said super No-No words!" He dramatically told them.

"We're sorry," Alex whispered. "Parents tell us horrible stuff sometimes."

"Daddy would come home, call mommy a nasty word sounding like witch! Mommy got mad, really mad! She drank gr...gross soda."

Alex and Biff's hearts break.

"She act funny later. She hit me...call me a b...burden. Why did...why did mommy act funny when she drank the strange soda?" His innocence shined.

"Well," Alex hesitated until Biff gave a confirming head tilt. "People drink really nasty called alcohol; drinking too much causes people to behave oddly. Folks can cry when drinking, and others prefer mental and physical actions. Understand?"

"Uh huh." August hugged Biff's thumb.

"Do...do you...and Biff own No-No soda?"

Automatically, Biff and August preferred the child's term alcohol.

"Him and I ditched No-No juice long time ago!"

"Hmmm, okay, can we watch a Christmas movie now?" August yawned, desiring a restful afternoon.

"Sure, we'll make popcorn." Biff and Alex went into the kitchen.

"Biff, I'm worry he'll find the truth." Alex said once August was out of war range.

"Alex, you're not that person anymore." Biff assured him.

"But what if he.."

"You're not that person anymore!" Biff hugged him and gave a kiss on the cheek. "No-No juice for you anymore." He chuckled.

"And no more No-No words from you."Alex said.
