Chapter 9

It was the next day and it was time for the event Pandemonium. It was about participants in the temple can choose to take on any number of the 100 monsters at a time, but must defeat them all if they wish to continue. I started to think of who was going to go but I had know idea. I just started to walk to the Grand Magic Games when I saw my friend Siri looking at a piece of jewelry. "Siri what are you doing over here?" I asked her as she looked down and frowned. "Tomorrow's my birthday and my brother Orga always forgets," Siri said and started to walk toward the GMGs with me. I felt really sorry for Siri so I tried to find Orga. "Orga there you are! I was looking for you," I yelled over to him and he turned around. "Yo, what's up?" Orga asked and i stood there thinking. "Get Siri something for her birthday tomorrow okay" I said telling him to do so "Just don't let your sister down." I added and started to walk to the terrace. I saw Rouge standing there at the entrance of the building looking for me. "Rouge!! I'm over here already," I called over to him and he walked over smiling.

Rouge was just sitting there watching Sting attack 100 monsters while hearing Kabo flip out. "Rouge, c'mon are you coming to sit with me or are you just going to sit near me?" I asked him giggling. Rouge scooted over and put his and in mine and smiled. I smiled back and then looked at the battle field and frowned. "Hey what's wrong Lucy?" Rouge asked having his worried face on. I looked back over to him "Tomorrow is Siri's birthday and Orga keeps forgetting it so i reminded him. I don't think that he will remember tomorrow so I want us to get her something for her birthday." I said sounding all cheesy. I was looking back at the field smiling.

(Flash Back)

"Hey Lucy happy birthday!" Natsu called running toward me with Lisanna behind him. "We all got you something." Natsu said smiling and handing me his gift. I opened it to find a Zodiac Key "Na-Natsu, I can't believe you got this for me. It must of cost a lot. You didn't have to get me this kind of gift but thank you." I said looking at him smiling. "It was worth buying it for you." Natsu said looking down at the ground trying to hide him blushing. I giggled and Lisanna walked over "It's not much but here you go." she said handing me an envelope. I opened it and it said Dear Lucy, I know u never actually knew me growing up but I'm happy that i got to meet a girl like you. I mean your like Mira, a older sister to me and i never want to loose you. You helped me through so much even though you like Natsu too. But you still help me get close to him. I don't understand why your so nice to me even though i try to steal Natsu away from you. I mean we both like him lol. You help me with job requests and listen to my problems even though they sound stupid sometimes. I never want you to leave Fairy Tail and i never want to become your enemy. and I felt tears coming from my eye's. I got up and ran to Lisanna tackling her "Thank you i feel the same way." I said smiling while wiping my tears.

(End of Flash Back)

I was getting shaken by Rouge "Lucy come on tell me what's wrong." he said continuously. I felt tears running down my face and everyone was just staring at me. "L-Lisanna" is all i could get out without bursting without crying even more. Rouge got up and Yukino came over to comfort me. A couple minutes later Rouge came back with Lisanna and Gray "There she is. All she said was Lisanna before she burst out crying so i thought i would come get you." he said and I looked up "L-Lisanna" I said and i saw Lisanna coming over and sat beside me. "Yea Lucy, I'm right here beside you. What is it?" she asked while i could feel the master staring at her. I just hugged her and started to cry again. Then i pulled away real quick, pulled out a letter, and handed it to Lisanna. "I carried it everyday and everywhere i went" I said smiling wiping tears and Lisanna opened it. She noticed it was the letter she gave to me last month for my birthday. I saw a tear escape her eye and she hugged me "I never knew that stupid letter meant so much to you." she said looking up at me while i was hugging her back and i giggled.

It was a little later that Happy told me that he wanted to hang out with Natsu again and wanted to rejoin Fairy Tail. "Okay Happy go ahead." I said and smiled. Inside I felt like screaming, he was my best friend and i never wanted to loose him like i lost Natsu and Lisanna. But I just kept my fake smile on and let him go.
