Chapter 16

I walked into the guild after i put all my things away at my house. I was getting hugged by everyone and i couldn't help but actually smile. It at least took me like 5 minutes to get half way through the guild while being hugged. "Hey Mira, can i get a strawberry smoothie please?" I asked nicely smiling and Mira smiled back and handed me a smoothie. "Thanks." I said and walked away over to team Natsu. Juvia and Gray were talking well more like arguing. "Gray just take Juvia out on a date already!" I said loudly so Juvia could here it and she smiled. "Yes I would love that!" Juvia said happily. I felt a hand go around my waist and i looked up to see Natsu staring at me. "What should we do today Mrs. Heartfilia?" he asked sounding formal and i just started to giggle. I had to think a little bit "How about we go on a job together." I said looking at him and he smiled. "Yes that's it. That will be our first date then." Natsu stated while i stood there straight faced and Natsu started to back away from me. "NO!!" I yelled and he looked scared of me. "O-O-Okay then we will go on an actual date then." Natsu said walking back to me with his hand around my waist again.

Happy went to the request board and grabbed a flyer. "Lucy can i talk to you real quick?" the master asked walking towards it smiling. "Um.. sure what is it?" I asked curiously and walked over to him. "Well i need to tell you in my office." he said and I started to get worried. "Okay but can Natsu's coming." I said walking toward his office pulling Natsu along with us. Master nodded and we went into his office. "Lucy, your father wants you to come home to talk to you about your past." he said blankly and i was sitting frozen and my smile disappeared. "N-No I can't go back to him. Please don't make me go home! I don't ever want to go home again!" I started to yell and i could tell the guild was hearing me while a tear escaped my eye. Natsu walked over to me, picked me up, put him in his lap, and held me like a baby. I started to cry in his chest and Natsu could see the fear in my eyes as i looked at him. I looked over at the master "He said you either go or he will take you by force." Master said and i knew what he meant i got up.

"Fine but he lays on finger on the guild and he is so dead!" I yelled walking out of master's office still crying. I had everyone look and me and Levy ran up to me "Hey Lu what's wrong?" Levy asked worried. "M-My father wants to talk to me and he is threating the guild if i don't." I said and continued out of the guild with Natsu running behind me and once he caught up to me, we were hand in hand walking to my house not knowing what my father wanted.
