When Daisy and Bowser Jr had left their companions, they went to hide nearby and listen in on the conversation. When they heard Luigi's awkward reply, they both facepalmed. To avoid the dumpster-fire of a conversation, Daisy turned to Bowser Jr. "So, he seems like Luigi?"
"Yeah, my dad always seems excited whenever he sees Luigi around." Daisy thought about this for a moment, turning back to Bowser and Luigi once again, this time focusing on Bowser.

Bowser was confused by what Luigi had said but just kind of shrugged it off. Luigi looked embarrassed. Bowser noticed Luigi's deep blush and thought it was a result of the heat. "You must be hot." Bowser said, "In an overheated sort of way." He quickly added. Luigi turned a deeper shade of red and nodded.
"Luigi needs to the shade." He said, hopping up from the bench and heading to a shadier spot. Bowser got up and walked with him.
"Wouldn't you be used to the heat? From all the times we've battled in my castle?" Bowser asked, trying to open a conversation.
"That's normally Mario you battle." Luigi replied.
"Oh umm...." The two fell into another awkward silence.

By this time it was very clear that Bowser and Luigi were into each other. To help with the silent stand still Daisy and Bowser Jr returned. "We couldn't find a water cart." Daisy shrugged.
"That's alright, we should probably get going soon." Luigi said, jumping up. Bowser looked a bit disappointed but didn't say anything.
"You can't stay longer?" Jr asked. Luigi gave an awkward shrug and tipped his his hat as way of goodbye before turning to leave. Since his hat was momentarily obscuring his vision, Luigi tripped over a rock and skinned his knee on a nearby branch.
"Are you okay?" Distressed, Bowser quickly went and scooped Luigi up. "I have bandaids in my kart incase Jr gets hurt, You can use one." He said to Luigi as Bowser began to carry Luigi. Luigi turned a deep shade of red again and forgot to even say he didn't need to be carried. He was to busy admiring bowsers physique.
"He's so strong." Luigi thought to himself. Daisy and Bowser Jr followed behind.
Once they got to the kart, Bowser set Luigi on the passenger seat. Luigi hurriedly covered his face with his hands as Bowser got the bandage from the kart. He knelt in front of Luigi and tended to his wound. Luigi, desperate to fill the silence quickly sputtered whatever nonsense he could.
"S-so It's been a while since we've seen each other, haha it was kinda lonely as a cracker jacker on a Sunday night." The weight of the words hit Luigi quick and hard. He rushed to explain himself as Bowser let out a whisper of a laugh sending Luigi's heart into a flustered mess.
"We should hang out some time soon." Bowser smiled. Stupefied by Bowser's smile, Luigi wasn't able to immediately think of a reply.
"You guys can hang out tonight!" Bowser Jr said, suddenly popping up.
"Can't, I don't have a babysitter for you tonight." Bowser replied.
"I'm free." Daisy chimed in. "I'm chronically alone hehe."
