I took a sip from the water fountain and headed back to the room, but something was wrong, I tried to turn the handle to the door and it was locked. I tried to stay calm as I pulled on the door knob. However, it won't budge. I was worried since I'm not safe from being seen by the Goetia family. There were faint voices from a distance that I hid out of sight behind a vending machine. Stella didn't like the last room she was in, so she requested a different and better room to be at."Your special room is just ahead." Charlie says as she escorts the Goetia family to their room while Vaggie and a few bellhops carry their luggage.
Vaggie was really annoyed that Stella brought in like 5 huge bags of her things. Stella followed them until stopped for a minute as she smelled an odd scent.
"Human?" She quietly asked herself until she brushed it off when her daughter called her.
"Is something wrong mom?" Octavia asked.
"Nothing. Go to your father." Stella says as she follows Charlie to their better room.
I sweat in fear, as they were close to my location. Charlie opened the door for them as they went to their assigned room. Stolas thanked her and paid her well before he and Octavia walked in first. Stella then came into the room next as she waited for Vaggie to bring in her luggage.
"About time." She said with disappointment.
Vaggie took the comment offensively and wanted to smack her, but put her emotions in check and said with a fake smile, "Enjoy your stay."
Charlie escorted her out and left the Goetia family alone. After it was clear, Vaggie vented out all her rage.
"Who does that feathered bitch think she is?" She asked.
"I know you're mad Vaggie, but they are royal demons after all." Charlie says.
"Stella has no right looking down at us like that. You are the Princess of Hell after all. You should teach her some manners." Vaggie suggested.
"I want to, but I'm not going to go at my parents' level on that. I want to help people change, not punish them." Charlie explains.
Vaggie took a deep breath and said, "Fine, you're right, but my patience is limited. I'm going to relax in the hot tub for a bit."
"I'll join you later, I just need to help Husk bring in the alcohol deliveries." Charlie says as she leaves.
The coast was clear. I just had to wait till Angel returns from his errand. It's been a while already. How long does it take to get a bottle of whiskey from a liquor store ,and what questions me is why he didn't just go to the bar to get some from Husk. I bet he is up to no good.
I headed back to Angel's room and waited at the side of the door while I hoped Stella wouldn't see me out here since I know she is not a very nice demon at all.
Meanwhile in the living realm, Druce and Jack were almost done finishing up the yard and fixing up the outside of their home. Druce was almost done mowing until something caused the blade to jam.
"Fucking shit." He says as he turns it off and moves it out of the way and notices the Grimore.
"The hell?" He says as he picks it up and examines it.
He was confused that the Grimore book wasn't damaged at all by the lawnmower and was shocked that the lawnmower blade was dented instead by the impact.
"Jack." Druce shouted as he went to the back porch.
"What is it?" Jack asked while he was smoking a cigarette.
"I found this odd book in our yard." Druce says as he looks through the pages.
"Can't read this thing. It's not in English." He added while he gave it to Jack.
"This is some demon, or hex shit right here. It's kinda cool." Jack says as he examines the book more.
"Should we keep it?" Druce asked."Hell yeah we should. This book might cost a fortune. It has great detail to be honest." Jack suggests.
"Let's hurry and finish this yard work and take a closer look." Druce says.
"Yeah. I'll put it in our room real quick." Jack says as he goes inside the house.
What they didn't know is that the Grimore is dangerous to mortals if touched by one. That the Grimore can corrupt a living person's heart by extensive touch contact to the book. The dark power that they found will take over them soon.
Back in Hell...
It's been an hour since Angel left and I'm antsy of being stuck in the hallway. I heard someone coming out of a room and I noticed it was Stella since I can tell the Karen tone she has."Fucking shit. They should've had proper shampoo and body wash in the bathroom but they aren't any." She says in disappointment as she comes down the hallway I was at.
I panicked a little as I carefully went around the corner to avoid being seen, and hoping she wouldn't turn left.
"There is that damn unusual smell again. There shouldn't be a smell like this here because humans only exist in the living realm." Stella said to herself.
My eyes widened when I found out she can sense human smell. I ran out of the hallway fast and went down the steps to the first floor where there was some party being set up in the dining room. My curiosity made me take a peek and it was some after wedding party for the Goetia family. The poster represented Stella's and Stolas' marriage of royalty and it must be important. As I was about to find Charlie, I accidentally ran into someone and fell down on my rear hard. My heart sank in fear as I looked up and it was Stella. Her pink colored eyes darkened a little with anger and I tried to get up and make a run for the stairs.
She was pretty fast while in a dress. I tried to stay calm as I kept running down the hall for my life. Stella was catching up to me already and was about to grab my shoulder, but I kept dodging her grip and made a hard left around the corner. I jumped into a janitor's closet and locked the door and hid. I took deep breaths to regain my energy after running from a bird demon that is possibly a phycopath.
I heard footsteps passing by which means I'm safe for now, but I'm not till I find Charlie or Vaggie somewhere in the hotel to keep me safe while Angel Dust is not back yet from his errand. I peeked out of the door, and it was quiet, but too quiet.
I was scared of walking out of the closet, but I stayed vigilant and was about to head to the lobby where Charlie could be. But I felt a huge claw hand grab my right shoulder which froze me in fear.
I slowly turned around and it was Stella giving me an evil grin. I wanted to run, but she had a grip around my arm and made me follow her. I hope nothing bad is going to happen since this could be the end of my life already. I closed my eyes for a minute, and faced the music. I didn't know where I was going until someone pushed me into a daycare where it was quietly and empty until I saw Octavia playing with some toys by herself and she is the only one in here.
"I'll let you live if you keep my daughter from bothering me." Stella says as she leaves the daycare.
I ran to the door and it was locked. I'm trapped in a huge empty room with a girl that is a year older than me and I can't get out. I turned around and I saw Octavia a little shy and not very social. I guess I should try to get to know her as a friend since we're both trapped here.
