19. Cops ?

Samantha's pov

"what's going on here?" I snapped looking out the two of them. "It's nothing Samantha." Devin answered I said "nothing? Y'all were just fighting!" "It's nothing to worry about babe." Hayes said coming closer to me.

I said "are y'all alright?" "We're fine Samantha." Devin replied walking away. I looked at Hayes and said "are you alright?" He nodded and said "I'm perfect babe. Promise." "As long as you're okay." I said hugging him.

He kissed my forehead and said "let's go babe." and wrapped his arm around my waist. We started walking towards his motorcycle and I grabbed the helmet putting it on. He hopped on and so did I as we started driving.

We arrived at his house and outside was parked a police car. Soon we saw Cameron and Nash both handcuffed being walked to the cop car. Hayes said "I want you to run." "What?" "Just go! Okay!" He said with no emotion "alright , love you." I said as I kissed his cheek "I love you to , princess." he replied.

I ran and hid behind the house and peeked my head around. My eyes filled with tears as I saw hayes being handcuffed and put in the back of the car. He didn't do anything.

His eyes caught mine and I could see he was crying as he mouthed "I love you." "I love you too." I mouthed back. What could he have done ? That's the thought that kept racing my mind. What did he do ?
