So, if you're a new reader, welcome to this bizarre story! Skip this entire portion of the book and be on your merry way to the first chapter! (You actually can't, you wouldn't know one key character.)
BUT.
If you're coming here after reading Told You They'd Freak, you'll know that this entire book was originally meant to be a short story of three parts. Glee x Flash, neat and simple, involve a dash of DCAU.
But the HalBarry stan in me fought.
So what you're seeing here is a product of two jumbled mindsets with writing style possibly swerving into a new direction in the middle of the story. However, I don't want to edit it. I like it this way.

THIS... is Sebastian Smythe. Most of the story is told from his perspective. He was actually a villain in the popular high school drama Glee, and was portrayed by Grant Gustin.

THIS. Is Barry Allen. Central City's resident speedster, currently drunk. Also portrayed by Grant Gustin.
Since these two major characters were brought to the screen by the same actor, there is a popular head canon all over fanfic websites that they are twins (or the same person, in some fics.) Hence, I used the same theory here.

Thaal Sinestro. Leader/Founder of the Yellow Lantern Corps. I seriously don't know much about him except for whatever I read up on the Fandom Wiki. He is this story's main villain.
