Yesterday has permanently scarred me. The disturbing scene playing over and over, all I can feel is Anxiety, I care about her.
It was almost the end of hoomroom, Tenshi is no where to be found. The bell finally rings, I am going to ditch, I need to see her, my angel. I sneak out the doors of the school and head to my worn car.
I turn on the engine and buckle up. I turn the radio on and "Still Into You," by Paramore starts to play. This song is my jam. I start listening to the lyrics, so true, so relatable. I tend to zone out listen to the tune, but I get back to focus when I have a deep realization.
The one that I love is suicidal, home alone forever and I have been making her life a living hell for almost forever. I never got to say I'm sorry yesterday, I got too distracted. I need to do it now.
I put my foot on the gas pedal, ready to go. I quickly pull out the school parking lot and head left to begin my journey to her house. There was no traffic, no one to stop me. Every store and house I past made the town seem like a ghost town. I was almost to her house when I past the graveyard.
What a creepy place, filled with dead bodies, ew. I always tend to speed up when I past the old Oakland graveyard, but not this time. A familiar figure sits under a tree. I can't see a face just pale skin and black clothes. I look closer, that figure was Tenshi.
I pull over to the side of the road and put on my emergency lights. I turn of the engine and quietly got out of my car. I walked on the small path to the tree, "Tenshi?"
She looks up at me, her eyeliner has trailed down her face and left faint stains. Even at her worst moments she was like an angel without wings. " Get away from me," she said shaky.
"I'm sorry, I know this a bad time. I just to say I'm sorry for everything I have been ruining your life since we have first meet. I never wanted this to happen," I stop and she seems confused.
"What? Why are you sorry? Why are you saying this when it is too late?" She states almost angry, there was a lot of tension in her voice.
"I love you," the words fall out before I could stop them.
Tenshi stands up slowly, I know she is speechless. I close my eyes expecting to hear words of hate, to get what I finally deserve. Instead of verbal hate and revenge, there was silence. I open my eyes when I feel arms around my waist. She was hugging me, the last reaction I expected. "I love you too."
I was shocked as she said that, my world has forever changed. I have a suicidal lover and my mission is to save her from self destruction. I'm zoned out, distracted by a hurricane of thoughts. I was back to reality when I felt her kiss me on the cheek. The moment I have always wanted to happen is now a reality.
I guess you could say we found love in a hopeless place, surrounded by dead people. Not as I would have imagined this to happen, but I don't care. Today was the best day ever, I could never ask for anything more.
