Annabeth's POV
We've been married for four months now, and I couldn't be any happier. Over the past four months we've settled into the house, had our honey moon in Europe, and many other things that I can't describe how happy they've made me.Our house has two floors, it is a luxury. I don't know how Percy afforded it at all.
I sit on my bed awaiting for Percy to arrive back home, he went on a walk with Leo, which I don't know why. I walk to the bathroom to take my fifth or so pregnancy test. Every time we try it comes back negative.
I wait for it to dry and I make myself a cup of tea. I'm anxious to find out, even though from the odds it's probably negative.
I walk back into the bathroom and I pick it up and drop it on the ground, I'm hallucinating, I'm imagining this. It's an illusion of my mind. This can't be real.
It says positive.
Oh my gods, it says positive. It's taken four, almost five months, to get pregnant and it finally happens. I have to tell him. I quickly put my converse on and run out the door. I run the hill of Camp Half Blood as fast as my legs can take me. I see Percy walking up the other side and I'm still running down this steep, steep hill. I try to slow down but my legs are still moving me.
Percy looks up and sees how fast I'm coming, he tenses and holds his arms out so we can both fall together, knowing that there is no other way out of it. "Babe! What is it?" The breath is knocked out of him when I slam into him. He falls to the ground holding me. "What?" He asks once again after he stops chuckling.
"It's positive! I'm pregnant, Percy. I'm having a baby." His eyes widen and he sits up, with me on his lap. "What?" He looks completely stunned. "Yes. I'm with child." He smiles "That's great, babe! We need to tell everyone." I smile in return and he helps me up. "I want to tell our parents first, please." He nods at me and we walk back up the hill to get in our car.
We interlace fingers and he starts driving.
When we get to his mothers apartment we run up the steps, and open their apartment door. "Mom!" He grabs her and takes her by surprise "Annabeth is pregnant!" She looks at me and smiles at both of us calmly, which is just what I need. I don't think I can handle anymore excited people right at the moment.
"Congratulations, both of you. Did you just find out?" "Yes!" He squeals. I walk up to him and whisper "Calm down." He nods. "Sorry, it's just...this is crazy." "I know it is, babe."
"Well, we're going to go and call my dad, and iris message Poseidon and Athena and let them know. I hope their together when we do." "Bye mom, love you!" He kisses her cheek, and we're on our way once again.
When I tell my dad he sounds happy, but also occupied. It doesn't bother me as much now as it would've if I was younger, but of course I wouldn't be pregnant then either.
When we get back to the house I throw a drachma into our sink and speak "Oh Iris, Goddess of messengers and rainbows, please accept my offering." It shimmers and I speak again. "To Athena and Poseidon, please." I wait for the mist to become clear and we smile at our parents.
Percy's POV
Leo asked me to take a walk with him because he wanted relationship advice. "It's just she seems so distant lately, and I don't know what to do." He sighs and looks at me as we walk along the lake. "I would just ask what's up. She'd probably tell you, she loves you. She might just be going through something, you know?" "Well, if she told me. I could help her.""I know. It's hard, bro. But you can do it." He nods. "You're right. I'm going to go and march right over to her and talk to her." "You do that." I chuckle and off he goes.
