The After Journey

We meet a goddess.

Annabeth's POV
Today is the day where our quest begins. I'm nervous even though this seems like it would be an easy one, I just have a sick feeling inside me.

It's 3:00 AM and we're at the top of the hill waiting for Chiron's instructions.

Chiron comes and tells us "The first line of the prophecy says North, so we're already pretty close North. I suggest traveling the border of Canada till you feel something. And that's all I can tell you."

We nod and take in the information, he hugs us bye and Argus is taking us to the city. We will buy train tickets to Alaska, we've already talked about it and we feel like that's right.

I sit in the van holding Percy's hand and sitting next to Taiylor. "We each brought equal amounts of nectar and ambrosia and money, right?" They both nod.

When he drops us off I have flashbacks from when I was twelve. Grover, Percy, and I traveling to save his mom from Hades. Seems like so long ago.

We walk to the Grand Central Station and purchase our tickets and we go to sit and wait for the train to come. We talk about what our plans are for this quest, when we agree on mostly everything the train arrives.

We board the train and luckily find three seats together, we can feel the presence of monsters around us but I'm too scared to look.

-After train-
We got dropped off about a half hour away from Anchorage, which is the biggest city in Alaska. We walk somewhat quickly. We're not sure on what we're going to do once we get there, but we'll figure it out.

Multiple times from the smells here have made me run to a bush to throw up, I've always had a weak stomach and I guess the pregnancy makes it worse.

We walk the streets once we get into the city and Taiylor stops us. "Maybe we should stop here? Get some coffee or something. I just don't think we should go any further." Percy replies with "Yeah I guess we can.." And at that we walk into a small coffee shop and order some coffee and pastries.

We go and sit at a table and I look at a map of the city. "Well maybe after this we could walk this one street that walks behind the main strip?" They both nod and Percy scarfs down his pastry.

After I get done saying that a lady walks up to us, all three of us stare at her. "Hello, may I sit?" We don't say anything so I guess she takes that as a yes, she pulls a chair and sits in between Taiylor and I. "I see you three have been traveling? Let me give you some words of advice."

She tells us, "I do not agree with any of this going on with Artemis, Apollo, and Zeus. I think they should keep their family drama quiet, and not drag Demi-gods into everything."

She's a goddess.

Percy tries interrupting her and she silences him with "What I'm saying is when you do finally make your way to Olympus be gentle in telling the truth. Because both men will be quite obnoxious. So I'm giving you my blessing...only if you can prove to me that you are worthy of it." I sigh.

"I want Percy to come with me and tell me why he chose you two young ladies."

Percy's POV.
I almost drop my coffee on the ground, why me? I mean I get because I chose a pregnant lady and a girl I barely know, but I knew it was right.

I kiss Annabeth's head and get up from my chair following this unknown goddess. She says. "Speak." I sigh and lean against a wall.

"I chose them because Annabeth is my wife and we do everything together, and I know it was risky bringing her because she's pregnant but I felt it was something I needed to do. And I chose Taiylor because Annabeth and I both feel a 'connection' to her. We don't know why but we just do. Is that a good enough example?"

All she does is stand there, maybe thinking? I hope so. After a few minutes she finally speaks. "I am the goddess of snow. I know you Perseus, because I am Khione. I watched you regain your memory I watched you ever since that journey in your life."

She doesn't 'know' me, she barely knows anything about me.

"So yes that was a very good explanation of why you chose the two ladies. I knew you were going to say something along the lines of that anyways. Let's go back to them."

And at that we walk back to the girls and I sit next to Annabeth and Taiylor. They both look at me for answers and I shrug, because she didn't give me an exact answer.

"I have decided to give you my blessing, You three seem very dedicated to making things right with this family."

"Thank you very much." Annabeth politely says, even when she's annoyed and pregnant she still finds a way to be nice. Because I'm annoyed that it took so long to get a blessing from her. All I had to do was say why I chose Annabeth and Taiylor and she took at least ten minutes to answer, its annoying.

"Well, thanks and all but we should probably get going." So we get up and politely dismiss ourselves to find a hotel for the night.

A/N I'm back!!! I'm so sorry I haven't been updating. I haven't had time to write and I hate that :( but I'm back and ready to get this quest going. I plan on updating once a week again but I'm not sure when next week because I'll be on vacation 👍🏼 but I'll make sure it happens :). Please please pleasssseee vote and comment! Love you 😘
