»Jack's POV

It was lunch time and as usual, Flynn is talking about his adventure of catching girls' attentions.

"Are you really that obsessed with girls?!" I asked in an annoyed tone.

"Can't you tell?!" he replied, I rolled my eyes and ate my food. And, as new as it is, Hiccup is playing with his food again with a smile printed on his lips. SIGH, he's daydreaming with his princess again.

Why do I have weird friends again?

"Hey Jack!" I heard someone from behind me said. Turns out it was Elsa, together with Anna and............R-Rapunzel. Why am I stuttering in my thoughts?! What is happening to me?!

"Hi!" I greeted without showing a smile, I don't feel like it.

"So, we were thinking if you are available this coming first Monday in semester. Cause since you and my sister are partners, and Rapunzel and I are, maybe we can do each of our projects together. We'll do the project in punz's house." Elsa explained.

"So are you available?!" Anna asked.

"yeah!" I replied.

"So your coming?!" Rapunzel asked, I nodded with a smile.

"Sure, of course, why wouldn't I." I replied.

"Great!! Oh, I almost forgot, the cheerleading team needs me for the cheer. I'll see you guys later." Elsa said adding a kiss on my cheek for a 'Bye' sign for me. "Bye!!" then ran off.
"And I still have to go, Mr. Su wants me in his office for a meeting. Bye!" Anna said then walked out the double doors. Rapunzel was left behind and felt awkward after her cousins run off.

I motioned her to seat beside me, as she did.

"So did you eat lunch yet?" I asked.

"Yes, I ate fries and had a smoothie." she replied. I laughed after, sure have a confused look.

"what's so funny?" she asked.

"Nothing, nothing, its just. That's not a proper lunch." I replied and handed her my burger. "Here, have my burger."

She pushes the burger towards me and shook her head.

"No, thank you." she said.

"No, I'm not that hungry so-"

"But you are hungry." she cutted. "Eat it."

"No. A man must not be greedy when in front of a lady. So eat it." I said then gave her the burger. Again, she pushed it to me and shook her head.

"I'm not hungry." she said.

"I won't stop forcing you if you won't take it." I said then gave her the burger. "Take it!"

She was having second thoughts. She turned to the burger, then to me, then to the burger, then to me again. And as a last thought, she sighed and took it taking a small bite of the burger. I smiled.

"Good girl!!" I said then rubbed her head as she shrugged it off.

"Knock it off!!" she commanded as I chuckled. The guys looked at us with big eyes, more like in shock or something.

"What?!" I asked.

"Are you sure you two aren't a couple?!" Flynn asked. Then Rapunzel just suddenly choked. She coughed add I patted her back to help her. And for a little moment, she finally stopped.

"You OK?!" I asked concerned. She gave a faint cough and nodded.

"You sure?! I could lead you to the clinic if yo-"

"N-no no!! I'm fine, I'm fine!!" she cutted.

"Are you sure?!" I asked, she nodded with a small smile.

"I'm fine really." she said I nodded. Then there was silence.

"WOW!! Huge catastrophe huh?! Haha." Flynn joked. I glared at him as he stopped. Huge silence again.

"So!" until Rapunzel spoke up, leaving the awkward moment that just happened.

"Hiccup, how are you and my best friend going with the suitor arrangement?!" she asked as Hiccup tilted his head up.

"Well, it's, it's good. We were required to meet each other every other day." Hiccup answered.

"Oh, so are you getting along?!" Rapunzel questioned, making it feel like an interview.

"Still not catching up with her fast aim of her archery skills. But, yeah she's good." Hiccup replied proudly to say so.

"Hey, I heard you've been mumbling Mer's name every lunch. You like her don't you?!" Rapunzel teased wiggling her eyebrows.

"What?! N-no No!! No why, w-why would I, e.... " Hiccup said trying to show an expression of hatred. But it's obvious his lying, he tucks his hands in his armpits whenever he's not telling the truth.

"Face it Haddock, you do like her. You have a weakness, a very weak weakness." I said as he glared at me.

"eeekk, you like her!! I can not believe it!!" Rapunzel said in glee that made my ears hurt.

"oh, Mer's birthday is coming, what will you do?!" Rapunzel added.

"That's a surprise, no one need to know." Hiccup replied. Rapunzel shrieked even more.

Uh, this woman is a pain in the eardrums.

» Rapunzel's POV

"Wait, but to bad, you two aren't mates. With no time at all you two would get separated cause you'll each get to see your mates." I said in sorrow. I faced Hiccup seeing him pulling his lips in, showing his face lipless. I couldn't let in my mischievous smirk at him.

"Is she your mate?!" I asked, as his face lit up.

"uh, w-well......she's... I'm.... W-we're...." he stuttered.

"Your stuttering. That means you couldn't keep in the secret that she IS your mate!!!" I said in discovery.

"I didn't said that!" He said shaking his hands.

"She is!! Eeekkkk!!" I squeeled kicking my feet beneath the table.

"ugh, punz please, can you lessen the shrieking. It's getting kinda annoying! And what is this about a mate?! " Jack asked.

"o-oh! Its n-nothing, nothing." I said as Hiccup agreed nodding hardly. Jack shrugged then continued eating.

"Yo, Frost. We have to go, we still have practice with couch after this." Flynn reminded, add jack nodded and stood up from his seat, and so did Hiccup.

"Well I'll see you later punz, bye." Jack said after patting my head then they walked away.

Hmm, maybe I should also head to my next class. Besides, I don't have anything to do here but eat. I reached to my conclusions, I stood up and walked through the doors.
