I could feel him breathing. He's eyes meeting mine with not much to care if it feels uncomfortable. I never find it uncomfortable, in fact I find it, as a mate moment.

Our noses touched and his face cleared my whole vision. Our lips were centimeters away almost touching..... until

"Aah!" I zapped back to realization and found myself dropping on the floor. My back falling first startled with the sudden voice of mom through mind link.

I groaned as Jack fell to his knees and helped me up.

"bye!" then he suddenly walked out the door in a rush down the stairs and on to his bike. He drove off with his helmet on as I was left dumbfounded.

Mom called in the mind link. I let out a big sigh before answering her back.

'So how's the hang with your cousins? And mate boy?'

Through her voice exaggeration I can tell she's wiggling her eyebrows after mentioning Jack, mate.

'They already left mom'

'oh OK then. I just want you to know that your dad and I will be late in coming back home. I left you some left overs in the fridge, you can heat them up if you get hungry.'

'So, tell me, how's mate boy doing with you.'

"hey punz!" Hiccup's screen just suddenly appeared in my laptop.

"oh hey Hic. What's up?!" I asked.
"You already know Mer's birthday is coming, right?!"

"Yes, why?!"

"Well, I need you in my plan for her birthday."

"What is your plan?!" I asked smirking at the same time.

"I'll be the gift that you are going to give for her." he answered.

"Huh?!"

"look it's simple, after Merida turns 17, well after she blows her candles, she would smell something odd but sweet, and that's me, she'll scent her mate nearby, which is me. Then, you'll drag her to me and she'll know that I'm her long time mate, and we'll live happily ever after!"

I was smiling as he went by with his talk and nodded in understanding. It took me by surprise that a guy can actually have a vision about those stuff. That's not actually common, with men like him.

"huh, and I thought giving her a hair tie is the greatest idea ever!" I said as Hiccup chuckled.
