**"Mikey..."** Takemichi whispered, his voice trembling as he saw the man sitting atop a pile of scrap metal like a king on a twisted throne. It had been years since Takemichi last laid eyes on him-the Mikey he knew was long gone, replaced by this hardened shell of a man, eyes hollow yet still piercing.

Mikey, now an adult, barely moved as Takemichi approached. His gaze seemed distant, as if lost in another world. "Hm, have you been well?" Takemichi forced the words out, though they felt inadequate, almost absurd in the gravity of this moment.

Mikey gave a simple response, one that sent a chill down Takemichi's spine. **"Yeah."**

The silence between them was suffocating, heavy with all the unspoken pain, regret, and tragedy of their shared past. Takemichi's heart ached as he fumbled to say more, his emotions threatening to spill over. "Umm... Hm..." His voice broke, and the tears, once held back, came rushing to the surface, blurring his vision. *I can't hold it together anymore.*

He let the tears fall freely, his body trembling under the weight of the losses he had endured. "I'm... I'm sorry," he choked out, his voice barely a whisper as he wiped his face with his sleeve, trying to hold on to some semblance of composure.

Mikey, still resting his palm under his chin, tilted his head slightly. His expression was unreadable as he watched Takemichi crumble before him. **"Still a crybaby bitch, huh? That hasn't changed."**

Takemichi, through the blur of tears, couldn't help but smile. *It's still Mikey... even after everything.* The familiarity of Mikey's words gave him a fleeting moment of comfort.

But then Mikey's tone shifted, becoming colder, more serious. "I brought you here because I have a favor to ask."

Takemichi's eyes widened, his tears forgotten for a moment as he tried to comprehend what Mikey was saying. "Huh? A favor?"

Mikey stood up slowly, his gaze drifting over the abandoned lot around them, as if seeing ghosts from the past. "I came here to remember... my memories with my brothers. There's so much-too much-flooding back. Toman has changed, Takemichi. It's not the same."

He turned to face Takemichi, his eyes dark and filled with an unfathomable sadness. "Why did you leave Toman?" The question hit Takemichi like a punch to the gut. "I wanted us to stay together. I wanted you to stay with me. I *needed* you."

Takemichi's breath caught in his throat. **"Huh?"** His mind was reeling, trying to grasp the depth of Mikey's confession. This wasn't the strong, untouchable leader he had once known-this was a man shattered by loneliness and loss.

"I tried to fix everything," Mikey continued, his voice barely above a whisper, as if admitting a deep, painful secret. "But I couldn't control it all. I couldn't control myself. I'm never going to be the person I was in the past."

Takemichi's voice trembled as he asked, "Mikey, what do you mean? What happened?"

Mikey's face hardened, and for the first time, the weight of his sins became clear. He revealed how the members of Toman had disagreed with his methods, how they had chosen to follow Takemichi instead of him. And then, with an almost detached calm, he admitted it-the horrifying truth that left Takemichi's blood cold.

**"I killed them. I killed all the members of Toman."**

The words were like a blade to Takemichi's heart. His eyes widened in horror, disbelief flooding every part of him. **"No... No! Mikey, you couldn't-"** But the look in Mikey's eyes silenced him. There was no denying it. Mikey had become the monster they had all feared.
