I was on autopilot, and I was on my third week of being stuck like this. I repeatedly told myself I needed to get a fucking grip and come back to reality, and gradually I was. During our sparring days, Konan never brought it up - thank god. Sometimes though, I could have sworn he was looking at me with a tinge a guilt in his eyes though as soon as I would try to decipher it, he put up a wall. On the other hand, unfortunately, Chasity went about her days as though nothing had happened between us. Though she tried to talk to me, I brushed her off not wanting to talk to her. I wasn't in the mood after all. My whole being was on shutdown every time I got home.

I would just crawl into the middle of my bed and lay there exhausted. I would look at my non-bloodstained hands and flinch when the sound of a scream comes blasting through. After maybe an hour of it, I was able to draw myself back to reality. I covered my face with my hand, deeply sighing. "There's no blood. What's done is done," I muttered to myself and repeated it until I fell asleep.

The notification pings of my phone wakes me up in the dead of night. I groan at the bright light. After my eyes adjusted properly, I sighed at what I read and got myself ready. Quietly leaving through my bedroom window, I go off to work.

I had dragged myself to the gym the next day for our sparring day. I was exhausted considering I only got two hours of sleep. I looked around the empty gym confused and then pulled out my phone to make sure I wasn't crazy. Konan then pops up behind me, startling me to the point I nearly dropped my phone. "The gym is all ours for the day. Come."

I watched him walk away as his men lined themselves up against the walls by the entrance. Following him towards the ring, we both did our usual warm-ups before sparring. During our spar, Konan looked on edge and kept losing focus which wasn't like him at all. Stopping, I put my hands down and stared at him. "Maybe we should stop for today. You're losing focus here."

He dropped his hands also and stood his full height. He deeply breathed and just stared at me. "What?" I questioned with a raised brow.

"You seem to be doing better."

"That's what you're worried about?" It was unbelievable if that were to be true. "I didn't know you were the type to worry about someone as unimportant as myself."

His chest stopped moving and his eyes slightly widened. He turned his head away with a surprised look on his face making him look adorably cute. I smirked. "What? Cat got your tongue?" I teased. Taking a sidestep so I could look him over properly, Konan turns away from me even more. "Wait. Seriously?!" I pushed his shoulder to make him turn towards me. He goes to turn again. I grabbed his arm to stop him and swiveled him around. Konan sent me a glare, as if it'll scare me. I looked his face over and covered my mouth in surprise. "Wow...didn't know big baddie could care so much about little ol' me." I snickered.

The look in his eyes turned darker. I never knew how fun it was to tease him.

"You must have a death wish to want to continue," he growls out annoyed.

My dropped my smile right away and stepped away from him with my hands up. "Sorry, boss. I won't do it again so soon, boss."

He clenched his jaw making me break into a grin and made a run for it, but of course he caught me. He pulled me back by the arm and wrapped his arms around me so I wasn't able to escape. "No! I'm sorry!" I laughed. "I won't do it again!! Please!"

"Tough luck," he growls deadly.

I vigorously tried to break free only for Konan to hold on much tighter. "No! I'm sorry! Please! Please~!" Finally able to push his arms away enough for me to squeeze myself free, I broke his hold on me. Konan tries to grab me again as I swiveled away and swatting his hand away when he got too close. I jumped away from him. He kept his eyes on me like I was his prey. Like the predator he was, Konan was ready to scarf down his food. It went on like that for a while until he trapped me in the corner. Just as I went for the ropes to make my escape, he pulled me back and then pushed me right into the corner of the ring. I blocked my face as I tried to keep my laughter under control. "Ah! I'm sorry! I'm sorry! Please don't hurt me!"
