When I woke up early that morning I had noticed Johnny was gone I walked back home hoping my mom wouldn't be awake I snuck back in and got dressed when I walked back out the house I saw Johnny and dally. Johnny invited me to go get lunch with them I realised last night I had forgot to ask how old dally and ponyboy. " so dally how old are you" I asked he responds with " I'm 17 why you insrrested" I felt myself blushing slightly I asked Johnny how old pony boy was to find out he was only 14 " how old are you doll" dally asked "I'm 16 going in 17 in a couple months" I said he looked so much older then me I didn't expect us to be so close in age it was weird. We walked to Darry queen and ordered some food and having small talk we walked back to the Curtis house I felt nervous I hadn't met them but if Johnny saw these people as family they must be good. I was about to knock when dally and Johnny just opened the door and walked in and sat down Johnny had introduced me to a couple other people " this is sodapop and this Darry they are ponyboys older brothers that's Steve and over here is two-bit" I introduced myself feeling nervous " hi I'm y/n it's nice to meet you all". " what brings you here" asked a dirty blonde man wearing a Mickey Mouse shirt and sipping on a beer "she's a real good friend of mine we met way back we're like family" Johnny responds I sat down next Johnny not knowing what to do we just chilled and watched tv I knew these were just a bunch of greasers with messed up back story's and they all saw each other as family I wondered how long they had all been friends and it made me jealous I always wanted people who cared so watching them made me feel so jealous but in a way happy
