Chapter 3

It's been a couple weeks sense I met everyone and we have gotten closer me Johnny ponyboy and dally always hung out the curtis's let me sleep on there couch when things go to rough at home and my parents threw me out if Johnny wasn't there soda and pony were there to listen to me cry and comfort me but lately I've been wanting to get to know dally more.

I was walking to the Curtis house to meet up with everyone and I was minding my own business when I heard a car behind I had a bad feeling so I looked back and saw a blue mustang they parked in front of me chasing me down I was running as fast as I could but I got tackled I was so scared "your to beautiful to be hanging out with those hoods" one of them said I felt so scared my heart sank into my stomach one of them pulled out a blade on me " let's teach her and her friends not to mess with us" I started screaming someone kneeling on my chest and stuffing something in my mouth to shut me up I felt slicing on my arm tears running down my face next thing I new the gang was running after me dally beating the crap out of some soc and Steve beating them threw the car window the socs soon ran off "what the hell were you thinking walking alone like that" Steve said I couldn't speak not being able to process what just happened dally picked me up witch was weird because I could still walk but I was blushing so hard when we arrived to the Curtis house he placed me down and Johnny helped clean my cuts i rubbed the bruises hoping to lessen them I didn't hear the end of it from the gang about how I'm not supposed to walk alone and I should always carry a blade yada yada all I cared was that I was ok

Later on I went home I tried to avoid my parents but my mom was real drunk she grabbed me by the arm and yelled at me about how I'm a terrible daughter and I was the worst thing that ever happened to her and to that I deserved to get beat for ruining her life and she threw a bunch of crap at me shouted some stuff I was numb to this she slapped me real hard my cheek stinging I chose to finally walk away I went to my room and locked the door as she continued to pound in my door and yell at me I just lay down questioning life wondering why I'm still here if I'll just be treated like this I knew there was no place in this world for me and I contemplated killing myself until tink tink I heard what sound like pebbles hitting my window I looked down to see
Johnny and dally I went out my window climbing down I went to see what they wanted Johnny just wanted to see if I was ok and dally invited me to a party at bucks and I decided to go he pulled out a cigarette lighting it and asking me if I wanted one I declined I don't smoke much when we arrived to bucks place i was drinking more than I should've and last thing I remember is dally dragging me upstairs
