Of course, nothing good can happen if he wakes up with a redhead koala clinging to him.
If it weren't for the cookies that were being fed to him, Kim Roksu would have to keep his patience in check. Choi Jung Soo, the mighty, is currently suffering from a headache as a result of them. It's not much, but no one wants to befriend Cale Henituse, and neither Cale Henituse nor Kim Roksu has taken a liking to anyone.
Is it even a miracle or a curse? Because whenever Kim Roksu is around, Cale Henituse acts spoiled.
Of course, there's that uneasy feeling, but it appears that Cale Henituse is only listening to Kim Rok Soo.
What if the lazy, short-tempered bum and the trash get into a dogfight?
Choi Jung Soo did not want to think about it.
They arrive at school, and as usual, all eyes are on them. The trash has taken a shine to the newcomer! Even Alver Crossman, who had been trying to win over the redhead, was taken aback. Cale Henituse was well-known for his tough demeanor. He was known to despise trash, delinquents, and even the rich kids he was supposed to hang out with.
So what's with that bumpkin that he likes so much?
"Roksu-Yah, here." Cale Henituse feeds Kim Roksu the cookie he's eating first thing in the morning. The stoic guy accepts the treat, and one could see flowers floating around him. It was such a terrifying sight! Even Choi Jung Soo shuddered when he saw how disgustingly intimate the two are!
The rest of the day was history as a result of the two boys spoiling each other.
Kim Roksu had to meet with the schoolteacher, the scariest teacher in this damn school where he attends.
"Sir Eruhaben," he says.
When the golden-haired man looked at him, he got chills. He was supposed to be in his forties, but he appeared much younger. He appeared to be in his early twenties, which would put a real twenty-year-old to shame.
"You called for me?" he asked.
The teacher made him sit before him. "How have you been?"
Did he eat something wrong?
Kim Roksu shuddered just thinking about that.
"I'm fine..."
The man looked at him and said, "There's nothing wrong with your performances, and you get along just fine with people; feel free to ask anything when needed."
"Thank you very much, sir," he stood up and bid the teacher.
Kim Roksu decided to go home after that.
Choi Jung Soo had to attend some training, so he had to go home alone. He did not expect to see Cale Henituse sitting by the railings on one of the short bridges on his way home. He looked distant and lonely. Roksu stared at him for a good while before approaching him.
"What's up?"
Cale looked at him. He smiled at him.
"It's already late; why are you still here?"
"I don't want to go home." Cale's voice was soft but lonely. "It's better to waste time here rather than go back in that house."
House. Not home.
A house is a structure that shelters one from everything. A home is where someone waits for you.
Roksu watched Cale's distant expression. He may have smiled at him, but not all of them.
"Come with me..." Roksu pulled him back.
"Where are we going?"
"To my place." Well, it's actually Choi's house. Lee Soo Hyuk is his legal guardian, but he lives with the Chois.
