[CALE HENITUSE'S POV]

The sack on his head was removed. He opened his eyes and saw an old warehouse.

Ah. I'm getting kidnapped again.

This is actually the most normal occurrence in his life. He simply got used to it.

"Are you awake?" the white-haired man asked, smiling. This old man gives him the chills of a lifetime when compared to his previous kidnappers. He looked at him and at the tea he was serving him.

"What a strange kidnapper," he laughs. He's used to them starving him, but this old man even offered him some tea. He's not even bound anymore!

"I might try to escape."

"if you can."

Then this old man is confident in his ability to keep him here. Cale examined the warehouse. There were no windows, just a single iron door. Although he knew some self defense and dogfighting techniques, compared to that sturdy iron door, he decided to stay still. Also, this senior citizen has that stench of blood. He could be really more dangerous than his previous kidnappers.

He reached out to the tea and sipped from it. He felt the sourness in his throat. Damn it, it's lemon tea!

He couldn't help but frown while swallowing the tea.

"Do you like it? I brewed that tea myself."

"Is this some sort of last tea? You're the only kidnapper who has ever fed me." Cale was being honest.

"Are you not afraid?""

"You're not the only one who has kidnapped me before," Cale says as he eats the apple tart. Kim Rok Soo will undoubtedly enjoy this.

"You can still smile while being in a place like this."

"Can't help it... Old man, I'm used to this kind of living, so might as well enjoy what little time I have..."

The assassin must've thought he'd gone insane.

"You are quite peculiar."

"We're the same," Cale says as he eats the sweets offered to him. "I should be thankful, because this sweet delicious thing could be my last meal."

He's so used to this kind of living. Ah, I should've eaten my fill back at the Choi's place.

[KIM ROK SOO'S POV]

Kim Roksu frowned as he took a step forward into Vermouth's range. This assassin is good at wielding huge weapons and engaging in mid-range fights. He once read that he was even more trained in the art of torture.

"Where are you going to take that red koala?" he asked.

Vermouth stared at him but didn't say a thing.

It's nothing out of the ordinary; it's completely normal.

They remained motionless within the shadows, glittering as if the stars themselves had been plucked from the sky and tossed into the puddle.

He is currently in a precarious situation.

Unfortunately, this scene is not particularly romantic.

The iron from the manholes creaked as he sidestepped to avoid Vermouth's punch.

Five people emerged from the bunker, looking for any indications that they have figured out how to counter him.

Kim Rok Soo hears the clinking sound of a gun. He dashes towards the alley, but Vermouth is quick enough to whip him out in the open.
