Chapter II: Training

Neteyam POV;

She pulled me all the way to the cliff she smiled at me then let go of my hand going towards the cliff doing an Ikran call then a creature flew I remember it from on the path way she smiled petting the Ikran like creature She giggled as the creature push gently against her head " don't be afraid Neteyam. Swotulu is gentle. " she said looking towards me smiling.

I slowly came towards her " this is a Sätswayon. She is bonded with me. Every Nìwan gets one. " she said petting her happily looking into Swotulu eyes I smiled at there relationship " you can pet her if you like to. " she said I did gently Swotulu was beautiful she was all black with white speckles and the tips of her wings metallic gold grey stormy eyes the tip of her tail was different shades of yellow.

Her scales shivered as I pet her the tips were orange I laughed Payìva smiled at me then she got on I watched " when is it my turn? " I asked her curious
she looked at me smiling " when you are ready. " she said I looked at her she made another Ikran cry and they flew I quickly went to the edge laughing she smiled the whole time.

" Swotulu is a beautiful Sätswayon. Payìva was lucky to have bonded with her. " a girl said scaring me turning to her almost falling off the edge she grabbed me before anything happened tossing me the other side of the edge I coughed in surprise " please do not do that... " I said getting up I saw a girl older then me and Payìva.

I hold my arm looking at her she had long hair that went to her waist and her eyes were turquoise
" I am Tswesya. Payìva Older Sister. " she said " I am Neteyam. " I said " I know and I don't trust you! I'll give you a warning hurt my sister or my people I'll kill you with my bare hands Neteyam. " she said I gulp she did a Ikran call and her Sätswayon came down Tswesya got on it and flew off doing another Ikran call.

Then I heard Swotulu land behind me Payìva giggling getting off coming to me " Neteyam are you alright? " she asked worried seeing my scared face
" I think your sister does not like me! Like at all! " I said " did I do something? " I asked turning to her
She giggled I looked at her confused " no it's fine Neteyam really. She does that everyone I meet. Now come. " she said grabbing my hand.

She brought me to the shores she let go walking towards the water I followed I saw a boy out in the water on a creature with another one with dark rainbow colors Payìva swam to the boy he was looking out at the ocean then turned towards seeing Payìva then me I swam towards them.

" Neteyam this is my friend. Zeykoyu. " she said
" hello. It's nice to meet you. " he said " likewise. " I said " this is a Lenrra. " he said patting his on the neck gently it huff in response scaring him a bit
" very proud Creatures you must show you can bond with one before earning your Sätswayon and before letting the clan expect you. " he said I looked at him Payìva was now on her Lenrra.

" this is the Lenrra you'll be trying to bond with remember her colors everything about her. " he said I nodded studying her everything her eyes her colors everything " ready? " he asked I nodded I saw Payìva worried I looked at her laughing a little " why so worried Payìva? I'm sure this will be easy. " I said looking at her remembering the Ikran she looked at me then at Zeykoyu.

He just muffled laugh " if you say so warrior. " he said I looked at him confused " anyway. Like I said these are very proud creature trust me when I say you do not want to make them angry. Hey Payìva! "
he said looking at her she looked at him confused
" remember when Tsamsiyu first try to bond with a Lenrra? " he asked smiling she muffled laughed then started laughing they both laughed.

" bet same thing will happen to him. " he said looking at him " what happened to Tsamsiyu? " I asked wandering " nothing to worry about
he was fine. " he said then released the reins
" ok let her make the first move. It is only polite. " Payìva said I Wait the Lenrra looked at me the squawked and bowed her head towards me
" now what? " I asked looking at Zeykoyu " that means she'll allowed to give it a go. " he said.

I slowly went towards her Zeykoyu went to Payìva then gently got on I laughed " See. Told you... " I said to her she still had a worry face and " wait for it... " Zeykoyu whispers to her looking down trying not to laugh " it- ahhh!!!! " I screamed as the Lenrra took off " and there she goes! " he said laughing loudly
" hey! " I said to my Lenrra she jump out of the water and in like one hundred " your doing great
Warrior! " he yelled laughing looking at Payìva.

I still managed to hold on barely then she stopped I breathed really fast sand hard I looked into her eyes frightened " your really fast huh? " I asked she breathed loudly like a hmph angry " how about I call you Nìwin? You like that? " I asked her she dived down I yelped and she jump spinning out of the water " I'll take that as a yes. " I said exhausted.

I laid on her back for a while then we went back
" hey look! " Zeykoyu said looking at me " told you their was nothing to worry about... " he said Payìva looked up confused then saw me she smiled happily later we were all on the cliff " so looks like your ready to bond with an Sätswayon. Wonder what yours would like. " he said jumping on a stepping stone almost slipped he yelped I watched him I saw Payìva turned around her ear twist " what's wrong Payìva? " I asked turning to her.

" something about to happen. " she said then we heard a yelped I looked " yeah! Thanks for the warning! " Zeykoyu said annoyed I looked at him surprised " you ok Zeykoyu? " I asked " yep! I'm ok! Thanks Neteyam! " he said getting up I looked beside " Payìva? " I asked getting up Zeykoyu looked me confused then fell again " come on! " he said.
