Chapter VI: Metkayina

I woke up it was a bright but it got better I saw a girl it wasn't the girl from the forest she was older than us this girl was younger and younger then me I moved.

She gasps turning to me happy and shocked " Your awake! Ohh. Mommy said if you awaken to tell not to move. Your still injured. " she said " where am I? " I asked her " your in the Metkayina Clan in a Maruis. " she said " who are you? " I asked " oh.. I'm Tuktirey but my family call me Tuk. " she said
" what's your name? " Tuk asked " I'm Payìva! " I said " oh I should tell the others your awake! " she said running out I was still in pain.

I hissed painfully I heard someone come in I looked up it was the boy that caught me " yep. She's definitely awake! " he yelled " hey! " I heard Tuk say I giggled " I'm Lo'ak by the way. " he said turning to me smiling at my reaction " Payìva.... " I said I tried sitting up " hey. Careful your still injured. " he said
" are you Neteyam Brother? " I asked " so, he talked about me? " he asked " no... " I said " hmph. Rude... "
He said.

" it's that you look similar to him. " I said " yeah we're brothers. I'm the second born. Tuk is the youngest. And Neteyam is the oldest we also have two adopted siblings too. I think you'll get along with Kiri. Not sure about Spider though. " he said " umm. Lo'ak how long was I out? " I asked him " about 4 days? Maybe 5? " he said " you should rest. You got hit in a bad spot that should've killed ya. " he said then " ouch! " he said getting smacked in the head.

" sorry about him. " a Older female said Lo'ak rubbed where he smacked him I remember her she was the one from the forest " it's fine. " I said " I am Neytiri. " she said " I am Payìva. " I said " and Lo'ak was right. You should get more rest your not exactly fully healed. " she said bending to me " is Neteyam ok? " I asked her " yes. He is fine just catching up with his family. Thank you for looking after him. " she said I nodded then went to bed.

Neytiri POV:

I watched the child laid back down going to bed I felt her wound I knew somehow she was connected to Eywa I put a bandage around her wound changing it.

Then got up going out I turned to her one more time then left " mother is Payìva alright? " Neteyam asked me " yes she'll be fine just needs rest and plenty of it. She should be up tomorrow. " I said " how did you guys meet anyways? " Lo'ak asked his brother
" after I was dying I guess she found me while riding Swotulu. And brought me to her clan. And... " he said " oh. No her clan I completely forgot they must be worried sick about her especially her father I'll be in so much trouble and her sister would actually kill me! " he said freaking out.

" She has a sister? " Lo'ak asked him " and an older Brother. But that's not the point. It's been 5 in half days. She's gonna kill me when she finds me. " he said then did an Ikran call then a creature like the Ikran but bigger came he got on her " wait! what is that? " Jake asked looking at me " Neteyam calm down. No one is going to kill you. Not again. " I said
" she is right. " I heard Tonowari and we all turned to him including Neteyam who was confused.

" I've already alerted her clan and her father is fine that if she stays with us for a while. " he said " so I don't have to worry about Tswesya.... trying to kill me?... " Neteyam asked Tonowari shook his head
He signed in relief and Tonowari left.

" brother! What is that thing? " Lo'ak asked Neteyam looked at him and his creature squawked scaring Lo'ak " this is a Sätswayon. There sensitive creatures even more sensitive in the wild... and her name Syanan. " he said petting her " she's beautiful. " Tuk said trying to petting her and Syanan let her she giggled " she likes you. " Neteyam said smiling.

" what would she do if she didn't? " Spider asked
Then she bit at Lo'ak almost taking his arm off he jumped aside " that answer your question? " Neteyam asked looking at him " yep. " he said frightened it was the next day.

I went to Payìva Maruis I came in bringing her food she opened her eyes " how are you feeling? " I asked her " better than yesterday. " she said sitting up slowly " here eat this. Tsireya gave it to me saying it may help. " I said giving her the cut up fruit.

" Tonowari said he contacted with your clan. And let them know your staying with us for a while. " I said " so after you eat since your feeling better you can explore. " I said smiling at her she nodded.

Payìva POV:

After I ate I went to explore I walked asking the net connecting the Maruis it was just like our pathways that brother and his friends made but bouncier I jumped on laughed ran across kinda jumping on it people of the clan watch probably thinking I was weird for doing it but I didn't mind I jumped down of the net into the sand it felt softer here then our home sand.

I looked around I went exploring " your awake. " a female voice said I turned seeing a girl about my age
I stared at her confused " sorry... I'm Tsireya. " she said " but you can call me Reya if you like too. " she said " I'm Payiva. " I said " it is nice to meet you Payìva. I have seen others like you before traveling here. Welcome to the Clan. I can show you around and teach our ways if you like. " she said I smiled up at her then nodded " yes... I would love that. " I said happily.

" come this way. " she said turning walking I quickly followed her.
