"Flowers Have A Language Of Their Own"

-KJ POV-

Waltzing back to Hyacinth's room with the food they had prepared for them. She thought back at the scenario in the kitchen and sighed.

"Gods, those three are such a pain"

"Who?"

Sage spooked her, almost causing her to fall back. Luckily she caught her balance.

"No one! Anyway, how are they?"

"Doing better, it's speedy from here"

A sigh of relief escaped KJ's lips. Sage said her goodbyes and let KJ enter the premises of Y/N's room.

"I'm back with your soup"

"Thank you"

KJ placed the bowl down on Y/N's nightstand and sat down beside them.

"Please have a speedy recovery"

"I will, thanks"

-Fast forward to a week-

Brim was kind enough to let you two off the job for a whole week after you just got injured. It was the last day of your extra long weekend when Sage gave you the clear to go outside the HQ since you'd been begging her to let you outside.

"Okay, you can go out. But someone needs to go with you"

"Thank you! And don't worry, I know the perfect person"

Rushing out of Sage's office you see Neon down the hall and greeted her by tackling her to the ground like how she usually greets you.

"AAAAHHH!"

"AHAHAH- TALA! Perfect timing"

"Mahal na Binibini-"

"Wanna come with me outside of the HQ?"

"oooooooh- Would love to accept the invite, but I have training with Reyna today"

A sad sigh escaped out of Neon while they both got up.

"Oof- training with Reyna sounds tough"

"It is-"

"What Jett?"

"She's out on the field today with Raze"

"Dang it, how am I supposed to go exploring when all three of my besties are busy!"

"I know a friendly engineer who might be willing to go with you"

"No- she's too busy- no"

"Just try, cause you'll never find out her answer if you don't"

"But how do I even ask-"

"Just tell her you dum-dum"

And just like that, Neon was gone in a flash. Perfect.

"My Gods- give me the strength to do this"

You wall back to your room when you saw her door slightly open. You peeked in and noticed she was sitting on her desk repairing the heater in your suit.

Her alarm bot then sounded at the perfect time.

"Stupid bunny-"

"Hello there, gardener"

She greeted, a cheeky smile on her face.

"So, what brings you here?"

"oh well- umm..."

'Deep breaths. Just be yourself

Nothing good ever came out of being yourself.

"I was wondering if you wanted to go outside with me to this amazing place but it seems you are busy so it looks like I'll be going on my own- anyway byeeeeeeee"
