I don't remember much from the rest of the night. All I know is I took a lot of shots and drank a lot of White Claws.
The next morning was horrid. Ruby and Mari nursed me back to life.
"I don't know what I would do without you guys," I tell them for the millionth time.
"Sleep in your own vomit, that's what," Mari says as we all laugh.
Parker and Colton show up around noon with donuts and coffee.
"Last night was crazy!" Parker yells.
"Be quiet my head is pounding!" I say as I hold my head in my hands.
"That would be because you drank like half of the alcohol there," Colton says.
"Sorry that I know how to have a good time and I am not a light weight."
"Oh, she got you on that one," Mari says as she takes a donut.
"Hey! That one was mine!" Parker tries to grab the donut but Mari bites it before he can.
"Oops! Was it?"
We all take our donuts and eat them.
"What was going on with you and Kano in the back room, Colette?" Mari winks at me as she asks.
Everyone's eyes turn to me, "Oh you know," I pause, "Anatomy."
"Anatomy?" They all say simultaneously.
"Yeah, body shots and anatomy."
I smile as I remember what happened.
Killian walks down stairs right then.
"I'm leaving for most of the day. I won't be driving anyone today," he says as he leaves.
"Someone's in a bad mood," Parker says.
"Isn't he always in a bad mood," I roll my eyes.
"For real!" Ruby agrees with me.
"What's the theme for the next football game?" Mari asks.
"I think it's Western Rodeo," Ruby says.
My phone buzzes.
Kano: I had fun last night;) You should help me study for anatomy more often. I am a very hands on learner.
I smile at the message.
Me: Hmm. I may have way to help you learn then;)
I put my phone down and join the conversation again.
